Mike ,a young, athletic college student with nothing to lose, was currently inside a car with his roommate listening to mother mother and clairo. The way he ended up in this mess was a little complicated but he wasn't complaining. After all they were moving to a better and larger house. This did mean he'd have to move schools but who knows what this one would have in store.
"Hey Mike, are you excited?" The girl next to him asked with a curious tone.
Mike only replied with an enthusiastic nod, too focused on the music playing in the car. He was 99% sure if he was the one that was driving he'd crash into something.
Marg was sort of rambling to herself, thinking the boy besides her was listening while in reality Mike spaced out and just thought about how his new life would be. It all seemed dramatic in his head, like he'd be the main character of a story. But he knew it would be nothing like that. Maybe a small change would be fun? New school means new friends and new teachers and that's always great! Wait but what if nobody found him entertaining and-
"We're here Mikey!", The boy was a little shocked by the sudden stop. He should've paid attention to Marg, maybe then he wouldn't have gotten scared.
"Sheesh... I almost flew out the car right there. Are we here?" Mike asked with a small smile on his face. "Yeah we are! The school looks really big from here but we still need to get to the apartments".
Mike exclaimed,"Let's get going then! You don't know how excited I am to see the place"
