It's a few days later. Izuku and I were walking to school when we came up to a crowd surrounding the front gate. I was extremely nervous because I am still not used to crowds. I hesitated before I felt a hand on my shoulder. "You will be okay." Izuku gave a reassuring smile and motioned me to follow him.
Once we were in the middle of the crowd someone pointed out we were wearing UA high uniforms. That is the moment I realize that this crowd is a group of reporters. They kept on bombarding us with questions.
"Is All Might your teacher?!... Is he a great teacher?!... what have you learned from All Might?!
I was getting anxious and could not answer. I had my mouth open but no words were coming out. Then I felt a rough hand grab my wrist and start pulling me out of the crowd. I was expecting it to be Izuku but when I looked over it was no other but the angry blonde.
We made it out of the group into the school grounds, where he let go of my wrist. "Were you not going to move dumbass?" he slightly yelled.
"Why are you yelling at me? It's not my fault there were a lot of people?" I yelled back
"They were just weak extras you could have easily pushed them aside."
"Well sorry for not being an angry pomeranian like you all the time."
"What did you call me?!"
I took a deep sigh, "If you did not hear me then never mind. Thank you for helping me out."
"Tsk," he turned around at walked to the school building. I watched him walk away when I notice Izuku was not next to me anymore. I turned around so I can find him in the crowd but Aizawa sensei beat me to the punch. He told Izuku to head inside while he dealt with the reporters.
"Sorry I left you to defend yourself. I guess Bakugo did not notice you in the crowd as well." I told him as I waited for him to meet me.
"It's alright... no harm done," he stated.
"You sure? I will beat up anyone that hurt you."
"It's fine Y/N. You don't always have to be protective."
"Okay... if you say so." We made it to class and took our seats. A few minutes later Aizawa sensei stood at the podium at the front of the class. He said, "Good morning everyone. Good work at your battle training. I took a look at your grades and evaluations. Bakugo, you need to grow up and not waste your talent."
"Got it."
"Mr. Midoriya looks like you had to break your arm again. You need to learn to control your quirk and just trying is not enough. You have great potential if you overcome this."
"Okay."
"And Ms. Midoriya." I flinched at my last name. "If you want to succeed you need to fight your own battles. Protecting is one part of the job so don't rely on that. I know you can fight based on your entrance exam scores so try harder."
"Right," I looked down at my hands contemplating what my moves are going to be next.
"Now that we got that out of the way. Your homeroom assignment today is to choose a class representative." The whole class burst into a ruckus. Everyone seemed to want to be the class representative including Bakugo. As for me, I feel I can not fulfill the position. I am still not completely confident in front of crowds and commanding a room.
"Quiet down everyone," yelled Iida. "We need to find an effective way of assigning someone as class representative. I think we should have a voting system. It will be anonymous and fair to everyone."
"Wouldn't it encourage people to vote for themselves?" Eijiro asked.
"It might but it is better than shouting over one and another. So everyone has one vote."
