A/N- I have so many ideas and chapters half-written. I just have to decide where the plot fits into the story. I hope you enjoy it! -L
"Y/n sweetheart, please wake up." I hear Wanda's voice pulling back from my head. My eyes flutter and I groan at the lights.
"Can you lower the lights? It's giving me a headache" I say. She lowers the lighting and I sit up, groaning at the pain in my muscles and the pounding headache I have. I look over and grab the pitcher of water, adding some to a cup and gulping it down. Wanda walks over and hands me some extra strength pain meds, and I take them gratefully. Bruce walks in and takes my vitals.
"Well, you passed out again, but only for about two hours. Your temp dropped drastically and you started shivering. Once we got you here, your vitals returned to normal. Next time you use your powers, we're gonna use a body scan to see if we can prevent you from passing out every time you use your powers to the full capacity. Drink some Gatorade, and then Wanda can take you upstairs for dinner. Come back if you feel bad or need help." He says. I smile and take the bottle of Gatorade Wanda has. I drink it slowly, feeling the pain meds kick in and the Gatorade helping with my sugar level. Wanda sits next to my bed in a chair, quietly staring at me.
"What's up Wanda? Are you okay? Did something happen when I was out?" I ask, turning my attention to her. She smiles and then grabs my hands.
"Of course not hun. Everyone freaked out when you passed out again, and when we got you here and Bruce said you were fine, everyone left. I just am so happy that you are here. Pietro and I always felt like the odd ones out, and like we were freaks compared to the others. Yes they have super soldiers and ex-assassins, and even geniuses, but they don't have powers. It's only been a few days, I know, but I see you as a sister. I'm glad you're okay." Wanda says, holding my hands and tearing up a bit. I look at her. Like really look at her. I was hating on these people because of my history with Hydra and Chris, and I didn't think about how it made them feel. Hearing Wanda call me sister made my heart swell. I smiled at her and pulled her into a hug.
"Thank you Wanda. I really appreciate how kind you've been, and I am so sorry I treated you as bad as I did when I first got here. I haven't had a sister for a long time and would love if you claimed the title, along with Nat. Ever since Hydra, I haven't felt this way." I say as I pull away from the hug. She looks at me and I can tell she didn't know about hydra.
"Hydra? You were with Hydra?" She asks, sitting next to me. I give her a sad smile.
"Yes. I was sold to them at 17. It's a long story." I say. She nods in understanding. I sigh, drink another glass of water, and then tell her the story same way I told Nat. She holds my hand and I can tell she really cares.
"Oh sweetie, I'm sorry that happened. I promise it won't happen again." She says, hugging me. "If we ask Tony, I'm sure he could contact your sister and because you're an Avenger now, it would be safe to meet her." She says. I smile. Of course I want to see y/s/n, and Rosie, but I'm terrified that Hydra will get their hands on them.
"Yeah. Maybe. I'm feeling better. Do you think we can go downstairs now? I'm starving." I say. She grins and nods, helping me off the bed. We continue talking and go upstairs so we could eat.

"Nat this is amazing! I love lasagna!" I say. I've decided to be friendly and try. Maybe Nat and Wanda are right. It's not hydra. I can help people, and play music. She has a huge smile on her face and is sipping beer.
"Thank you y/n. I'm glad you like it." She says. Everyone is mulling about and talking, enjoying the food. I remember tonight's Wednesday. I grab my phone and see I have several missed messages from Hannah, the girl who sometimes plays with me and helps at rehearsals. She's basically like an eccentric agent.
"So, are we doing anything special? Movies, games, drinking?" Sam asks, grabbing another beer.
"Nothing planned. We can watch a movie if everyone wants to, but we're all pretty much on our own." Steve says.
"I was gonna bake. I saw a new cookie recipe and want to try it." Wanda says.
"Y/n, do you want to help?" She asks. I look up from my phone.
"Actually, I normally rehearse on Wednesday nights. Since you guys agreed I could still play music, I was wondering if I could leave tonight and go to my friends' house so I can rehearse for a gig I have coming up on Friday." I say, looking around and focusing on Nat and Steve. I'm hoping because I have been trying to be friendly they will lighten up and let me go about my business, but one look at Tony and Steve says otherwise.
"Well, you haven't actually been cleared to go outside by yourself... I'm sorry y/n. Maybe after you get cleared for missions." Steve says, looking down at his food. I huff and turn away.
"Tell you what. I have a piano in the common room downstairs where we have parties, and I'm sure you have other instruments. How about they come here? You can use that room." Tony says, seeing my dejected face and knowing that I'm trying. I smile at him, mouthing a small thank you.
"I'll call and ask Hannah if she doesn't mind. I doubt she will, she's always wanted to go to an Avengers party. It's not the same. But at least she'd be able to be in the building." I say. I had already finished my food, so I get up and rinse my plate, and then go to call Hannah.
The phone rings for a second before I hear Hannah's happy carefree voice.
'Hey girly! I was hoping you'd call! We're supposed to rehearse tonight. Where are you? I went to your apartment but they said you moved out.'
I smile.
'Yeah.... about that. I'll tell you later. Right now I have a question. Do you think we could rehearse at my new place tonight? It has a piano and a large room.' I say. I hear her mutter of course and laugh.'Alright. I'll send you the address. Thanks hun!' I say and I hang up. I walk back into the kitchen.
"Hannah said yes. Thank you again Tony. I have a gig on Friday and was wondering if I could go as long as others go with me. You'll get free drinks. " I add the last sentence, hoping that it will help clean in my favor. I see smiles light up the room.
"You know what, yes. We really liked the music last Friday. We'll all go out to dinner again. Sounds like fun!" Tony said, smiling. I smile, nod, and then send Hannah the address. I get up and go upstairs to shower and change into some comfortable rehearsal clothes. Living with the Avengers isn't so bad.
