Sami's POV:

"Maybe I'm just to fucking nice dude, you know? I'm not aggressive like Jon. My messages don't come across clear like Jon. Or you know maybe it's that I am not meant to live up to Jon Moxley. Honestly, if I'm not able to live up to Moxley then living up to Dean Ambrose is impossible. Jon gets everything. He gets the girls, the recognition, the call from WWE, all of it. What do I get? A divorce, depression issues, a slight drinking problem, an unhealthy addiction to chewing tobacco and I just get so sick of living up to him. It's so hard living in the shadow of your best friend and it's just sickening. When's it my turn? What about me?"

I looked up from the whiskey bottle that I was drowning myself and at one of my buddies, Arik. He shook his head, "Is this more about Jon than April? Because I gotta tell ya man, this is something I've been waiting on for a long time. You're always in the shadows. Hey!" He punched me in the shoulder getting my attention then continued, "When are you gonna wake up? When are you gonna wake up and realize that us CZW guys don't mean shit to him anymore? And tell me, what's this about? Are we here to discuss him or are we here to discuss April?" I circled the entire bottle around and around and around in my hands watching it until I finally said, "April."

"Give me that." Arik snatched the bottle away which was probably best anyway considering I was hammered. He unscrewed the top and drank a little continuing, "Tell me about her and then I'll give you my opinion." "I slept with her and the next night, Jon proposes. She says yes." He started choking on the alcohol and I chuckled watching him. He beat his chest a few times then cleared his throat, "What'd you just say?" "We-" "No, no. Don't say it again. Sami, what were you thinking?" "I wasn't thinking and if I was, I was thinking with the wrong head." "You sick bastard." "She kissed me Arik...and it honestly felt like fireworks-" "In your pants?" I started to say something but instead, I laughed. "Um yeah sure."

"Sami, you've gotten yourself in such a mess. I know this is hard for you to hear right now and I'm only saying this because you're my bud and I care about you-" "Save the gay speech for my funeral. Just say what you feel you need to say." Arik cleared his throat and sat up, "Honestly, fuck her. Not literally because you've already done that but like figuratively. She accepted Jon's proposal AFTER you slept with her? Like what? You don't need her man. You got other girls banging on your door trying to jump at you, am I right? These WWE divas can break a man in half and split his heart in two, you feel me? They're nothing but trouble and that's crazy considering half of them are off the market."

I nodded and listened to Arik when he paused to take a drink from the bottle. He was drunk himself and maybe I shouldn't take his advice to heart considering so but, he's making a lot of sense. He swallowed then said, "You know what else? Ditch this Solomon Crowe bullshit, it's not you. Where do you think they're gonna make you go with this gimmick? In fact, ditch this entire company man. It's corrupt. I was listening to Colt Cabana's podcast with Punk the other day and the whole system is flawed." "You're taking advice from a man who's already rumored to be a little difficult to work with?" "He's a visionary." "Yeah well that visionary use to date April so."

Arik shook his head, "You've got it bad. What's so special about her anyway? There are a thousand and one women in this world, why would you spend a good amount of energy on one? Name me someone else you'd be romantically interested in besides April." "Well...I did sleep with Havok before I slept with AJ." Arik stared at me so I stared back and for awhile, it was just like that. He broke the staring competition, "As in the female powerhouse of TNA? That Havok?" I nodded, "Yeah." "You have really diverse taste in women. You went from Chrissy, short spitfire from New Jersey, to AJ who is the same to Havok, who's got these broad man shoulders and could choke the life out of you if she wanted to. What the fuck is your type?"

"I like what I like. Not really a type." "Obviously, you know what? You should get a girlfriend. Yeah, yeah and rub it in April's face then see if she actually marries Jon. It's pretty much making her confront her feelings for you." "If she has any." "Trust me, she does." "And if she marries him anyway, then what?" "You move on. I don't care how inhumane it is, you move on. Period. Understood?" I nodded and spread my legs out on the couch, "So? Who'd you have in mind?" "She has to be good with children since you're a father and all but also, she has to be a guy's gal, you know? Not girly and frilly like the rest of the divas of your company. Someone bold. Someone daring."

"Someone like Paige?" I asked. Arik's eyes lit up and he snapped his fingers, "That's it! Hey come on that could work! Look at you two! She's a mother, you're a father and you're both single. You guys are practically into the same things. Gah, that's perfect! She's pretty cute isn't she?" "She is." "Well that settles it!" Arik yelled obnoxiously and slammed the bottle down, only for it to break. I laughed uncontrollably and he just smiled, "You and Paige are gonna be the next It couple."

"And who knows," I smiled, "Maybe we'll go after certain Intergender Championships."
