Multifandom Oneshots + Imagines

Imagine You show Spencer (who can either be your best friend or boyfriend, up to you) your 'comfort room'. It was a little hidden room that was revealed when a full-size shelf was rolled aside. As the super extra person you are, you give him the ultimate tour, pointing out some of your favorite things and using a professional tour guide voice. 

The room had almost no blank spaces. A gigantic entertainment center covered all of one wall, with a television in the middle. The shelves surrounding it contained DVDs, CDs, records (you are an avid collector), video games, figurines, books, and other various decorations. Sat in front of it was a plush couch and a little coffee table with cabinets in between (inside were various snacks, paper plates, and plastic silverware.) There was a large basket in one corner filled to the brim with stuffed animals. Whatever of the wall wasn't covered by entertainment center or hidden behind furniture was covered by pictures, posters, framed puzzles, tapestries, and anything else (even a few on the ceiling). The side of the door was covered in stickers. 

Spencer didn't entirely understand how this was comforting to you. The room was VERY busy, the amount of color was a little overwhelming to him. And so, in the most respectful voice he could muster, he asked, "This is comforting to you?"

You turned around to stand face-to-face with him. "Yeah. I like being surrounded by things that make me happy, and I can't do this to my entire house or it would feel very cluttered and all-over-the-place, especially to guests, so I confine it to one room."

You noticed him glancing around, observing the wall decorations for a moment longer. "Things that make you happy, huh?"

His tone suggested that he was making an observation. You suddenly became very self-conscious, looking down and feeling like a kid who is in trouble.

He sighed, sticking his hands in his pockets and standing directly in front of you. "Y/n, there's almost nothing in this entire room that's actually from your life. It's mostly various fictional, with the occasional celebrity, and very few pictures of people you know. Of the few pictures of your family, friends, and the team, you are in none of those pictures."

As your eyes swept across the room, you realized his observation was true. Your face only occurred once, on your actual face. There were a few pictures of people you knew, mostly of the team, and a few of family or friends. It became more noticeable that those pictures were not in the most obvious place in the room, a sign that subconsciously, you didn't want to look at them as much.

"Do you know what that suggests, Y/n?"

There it was again. You felt like a child who got caught doing something bad: guilty. 

Without waiting for a response, he tells you. "It suggests that you aren't satisfied with your life. You prefer fictional universes and fictional characters as opposed to reality, which is why your Star Wars puzzle and giant Harley Quinn poster are right in the middle of the wall whereas pictures of your family are on the top shelf of the entertainment center where they can barely be seen. And this-" He uses one finger to point around the room- "is your way of distracting yourself from the present. Am I right?"

You nodded. You hadn't realized it before (or maybe you had, and you just didn't notice how pathetic it sounded until Spencer said it.) You guessed you could have made it a little less obvious.

He took a seat on the couch, folding his hands and resting his elbows on his knees. "Y/n, do you want to talk about anything?"

A/N: I have had the idea of a comfort room in my head for ages. Not gonna lie, this was kind of based off of me (I don't have a comfort room and this reaction hasn't happened to me, just the way the room is decorated is what I would do, and the logic behind it applies to me 100%, and it's where I got the idea). 

Also I had no idea what to do for the ending or the actual problem with Y/n, I only had this much in mind. I just wanted to share this little bit.
