He chuckled. "Kinda yeah. But thanks."

She smiled at him.

"What if..." Beomgyu pondered. "What if this is the last day?"

Ryujin raised her brows. "Then, that's good! You can start catching up with things again."

"I guess. But will everything be the same?"

"People will see a different side of you so possibly, everything will not be the same." She replied.

"Not that thing. Us two." He looked down.

Ryujin looked at the bear who looked away from her.

"I'm not sure what will happen. Shiela has some sort of magic that might-I don't know-I can't control that. What if going back to human has a price or something? Like taking your memories away, breaking a bond between us, leading us to be back to strangers again. I don't-"

She shushed him and made him face her.

"Beomgyu, no matter what happens, even if the brain forgets, the heart will remember. Don't think negative thoughts. I'll be here, if I forget everything, make me remember. I'll always stay by your side."

Beomgyu smiled worriedly and gave her a hug.

"Okay, let's stop this drama. I had enough." She chuckled and broke the hug. "But, we are not done yet." Ryujin rummaged inside her bag and took out a letter.

"One more?" Beomgyu looked at the envelope she's holding.

"This was the last one we wrote. You don't remember?" She asked.

"No?"

"Read it." She gave him the letter.

"To Dad. To Dad? Oh right!" He finally got the idea and widen his eyes.

"That's the last one." She said and put her backpack on.

"Is he back here now?"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. Yes! He's here now. Do you want to give it now?"

"Uhm sure. Here." Beomgyu handed her the letter as she pushed it back to him.

"You're the one who's gonna give it to your father."

"Me?"

She excitedly nodded and picked him up.

"Wait, h-how?" He stammered and worriedly looked at her.

"I have an idea. Just trust me."

He smiled and nodded. "Always."

...

"Sir!" Ryujin tried to call his attention. Luckily, she saw Mr. Choi getting out of his car.

"Good Afternoon, Principal Choi." Ryujin bowed.

"Ms. Shin? Good afternoon to you too. What brings you here?" Principal Choi greeted.

"Sorry to bother you sir but someone left this outside your office earlier." She gave him the bear.

"This?"

She nodded. "Yes sir, this was outside your office earlier and I figured that you already left the school. I'm afraid that it might go missing out there so I thought I can drop by and deliver it to you myself."

"Ah thank you, Ms. Shin. It was so kind of you to bring this to me." He smiled at her. "What a nice welcome back gift."

"A gift indeed." Her mouth formed a thin line.

"That thing is really precious." Ryujin looked down at the bear in his hands as she also saw Beomgyu smile.

"I should go now, Principal Choi." She bowed.

"Alright. Thank you again Ms. Ryujin. Please walk home safely."

She thanked him again for the kind thoughts and walked away.

Ryujin took one last quick look at Mr. Choi who's holding Beomgyu in his arms.

"I hope you successfully give it to your father. I know all that's written inside that letter are the words you always wanted to say to him. Good luck, Beomgyu." She muttered and silently walked away.
