Kaen woke up the next morning to his phone ringing. He reached over and clicked the answer button, holding the phone up to his ear. "Where the fuck are you?! Practice starts in like 20 minutes!" Kori spoke to him through the phone. Kaen's expression turned confused before he sat up straight,"Crap, I'm on my way!" He hung up the call and jumped out of bed, getting into some sweatpants and a tank top before putting his pink sneakers on and running out of the house with his phone in a hurry.
Katsuki woke up and groggily got himself up for work. He made some coffee and a good breakfast. Gotta stay healthy and eat good food. After eating his delicious home cooked meal, he went to change. After that, he grabbed his keys and hopped on his motorcycle to head off to his agency.
Kaen made the 13 minute run all the way to the training facility, practically kicking the door open as he entered. He didn't even stop to say hello to anyone as he ran down the halls before nearly kicking another door down as he got to the room. "Sorry Kachann... I forgot.... About training." He said in between gasps of air. Kori glared at him before rolling his eyes," The other air head is late too so fucking stretch before we start. You always forget to do that." Kaen nodded okay and set his phone onto the table before starting to stretch
Once their third partner, Akuto Kyoki, showed up then the group started training. It wasn't very often that they all got to hang out since the hero school kept Kaen and Kori busy. Akuto didn't go to the same school as them, and the pair didn't know where he went since he never gave any details. If Kaen was honest he always got weird vibes from the guy, and it seemed Kori had started noticing it too. But they didn't mention it and all three of them spent a few hours training before finally finishing. Akuto said his goodbyes and headed out while Kaen and Kori sat down at the little table to work on some of Kori's homework.
It was nice to just sit and relax after training, but soon Kori spoke up,"Strawberry. I wanna talk to you about something, so be quiet and listen for a second, okay?"
Kaen glanced up at him, a bit caught off guard, but nodded his head,"Okay."
Kori stared at him for a moment before huffing and looking down. God, he hated talking about feelings or shit. "Bakugou." He started off,"I know you look up to him since he is a hero and all.. Or whatever... but you really do need to be more careful. You understand?"
He raised an eyebrow but smiled,"Kacchann, you really worry too much. I know things in the past were... not the best to say the least, but I won't ever let that happen again." Kaen's tone was light hearted, not too concerned about this stuff.
Kori glanced up at Kaen again, eyes narrowing ever so slightly with his own emotions before he reached a hand over to set it on top of Kaen's hand, looking him right in the eyes,"Kaen... please just be careful around him... okay?"
Kaen picked up on the serious tone, sighing but nodding his head,"I will be careful around him, I promise. Please... don't worry so much."
Kori nodded his head, satisfied that he had now gotten his point across. He let go of Kaen's hand and went back to studying with him. They stayed there for another 20 or so minutes before packing up and saying their goodbyes, heading back to their own houses.
