Not Tommy Anymore

Trigger Warnings - Man I don't know... I write these almost every chapter except for those few I forgot... but I still haven't wrote any down and we've gone through torture, blood, blinding a character..  what am I supposed to write here?!?

Tommy had begged Techno to stay the night, his reasoning being, there were mobs out and Tommy wouldn't be able to see. Techno had told him, "you wouldn't be able to see regardless" but Tommy started huffing and plopped down on the couch refusing to move. Techno gave in and Ghostbur decided to head back to his sewers. Ranboo grabbed blankets and pillows. 

Techno helped at Tommy up on the couch and they waved good night to Ranboo who retreated into his room to sleep for the night. Technoblade was unsure just how much sleep he was actually going to get, so he stayed up just submerging himself in thought. He was pretty sure Tommy was asleep after a few minutes but the boy nudged his shoulder, catching the Blood Gods attention.

"Go to sleep Techno..." He mumbled quietly, drunk on sleep to the point he probably wouldn't remember this conversation when he woke up in the morning, and he didn't, but Techno would never forget it.

"I'm fine Tommy... just sleep." Techno gave a soft smile, aware that Tommy couldn't see it, that's why he sported it instead of keeping a neutral face like usual.

"I can't sleep knowing your going to be sleepless...." the boy argued poorly but it made the cold hearted killer's heart melt. He may commit mass homicide every now and again but sometimes he couldn't help but awe, and now was one of those times.

"Tommy, seriously I'm fine. Go to sleep before you can't." He turned away from the boy. "I don't know why you care." He didn't mean for Tommy to head that, but his heart shattered when he heard a reply.

"Because I love you Tech..." He twisted around in the couch, the nickname multiplying the pain Techno felt. He was in no way ever going to forget this night, the night that adorable his little brother finally admitted to caring for him, something that Techno could never do for Tommy.

Tommy lightly kneed Techno in the back of the head, eyebrows scrunching up as he scolded his brother. "Now go to sleep- I'll tell Dad...za..." Tommy trailed off and Techno picked up on the soft snores coming from the blonde boy. Techno smiled painfully and leaned his back onto the couch, next to Tommy's knee. He didn't know when but he fell asleep next to Tommy right there.

Unfortunately that long needed rest didn't last very long. The Orphan Slayer was awoken by a former orphans knee hitting his head. Standing up quickly he turned around to see Tommy still sleeping, and the blue sky shining into the windows. The smell of eggs and beef bacon filled his nose.

Ranboo was in the kitchen cooking eggs and beef bacon, beef bacon because Technoblade was a pig and he didn't want to upset the person that could snap his neck in the matter of milliseconds, or inflict unspeakable torture upon him just at the gesture of bacon. Though he wasn't entirely sure Techno would do that, he didn't risk it, better safe than sorry.

In a few moments both Tommy and Techno were sat at the table eating breakfast with Ranboo, the enderman hybrid taking note that Tommy wasn't so worrisome with his food like he once was. The memory of it hurt Ranboo, the fragile voice asking if the food he had made was drugged- it hurt bad.

Tommy was enjoying the food, it was too good to let go to waste, and he hadn't realized he had finished it until Techno took away his empty plate, surprising him with a simple praise, 'good job,' being his exact words.

After the breakfast, Techno and Tommy said there goodbyes and started their supposedly short journey back to Phil, and away from L'manburg. They walked down the Prime path, Tommy smiling and enjoying the soft breeze against the cloth of his clothes and against his healing skin. Techno was holding Tommy's hand as they walked.

Captain puffy saw the two sleepy bois walking towards the community house, she watched an enderpearl fly in, and the purple particles appear in a cloud before dissipating into a tall green hoodied man, and she froze.

Tommy watched the green fill his vision and he stumbled backward, watching pink lunge at the green.  He stumbled back more, ringing filled his ears and he hadn't notice his break quicken by 5 times. He couldn't feel anything anymore, everything turning numb as he watched the green evade pink over and over again, trying to get past him. Tommy felt his feet root themselves to the ground, no matter how hard he tried to turn tail and run.

Captain Puffy lunged forward pushing off her back legs, Dream had something up his sleeve, Techno wouldn't hold him off forever, she had to get to Tommy as fast as possible.

Dream had seen Puffy for a split second. He swung at Techno before he set the fireworks off on the floor. Large bangs and colorful sparks filling the air before anyone could grab Dream. The green man ran by Techno, just barely out of reach and grabbed the blonde boy by the shirt, launching an enderpearl away before Puffy and Techno regained their composure.

Technoblade turned around and watched the purple particles disappear into the air. A new emotion gripped him, one that he could see so well on the face of others, but was foreign to him- it was cold and sent him into a panic, he could only define it as fear, because that's what it was. Though the fear was quickly replaced with anger, because the Blood God fears no man, no one, and no thing.

Technoblade turned around to look at Puffy, and the angry facade melted away, a look of loss over coming his features. Puffy could only return the look with a soft gasp, pain gripping at her chest and tears starting to pour out her eyes.
