?36? Choi's Mansion Pt. 2

Start from the beginning

I looked at Ryujin and blinked. "Yunhyeok, this is Ryujin. She's my friend." I introduced her.

"Hello, Yunhyeok." She gave him a smile and waved at him. He waved back and stood up.

I watched as Yunhyeok walked towards her and examined her. "I like your hair, noona."

"Thank you, Yunhyeok." She patted his head. "I like your shirt."

"Thank you, noona." He smiled.

"You are hyung's friend?" He added.

Ryujin looked at me then looked at Yunhyeok who keeps on touching her hair.

"Yes, I'm your hyung's friend."

Yunhyeok looked at me then back to Ryujin then back to me again. "Beomgyu-hyung has a friend?"

I scoffed while smiling at his statement and leaned on the table.

"Of course, Yunhyeok." She told him.

"Okay, Hyeokie. Here is your bag. You have a lot of toys here." I gave him his bag. "Me and my friend here needs to study. Okay?"

I explained as he nodded and stayed at the other side of the carpet.

"I think we are done for English. Let's move on to your Science test." She kept her English textbook in her bag and opened her Science book.

"That's a lot of highlighted sentences." I scanned her textbook.

"You don't use highlighters?" Ryujin asked me as I shook my head.

"No."

She took out her pen case and gave me a bright pen. Oh, a highlighter.

I looked at her as she pointed at my textbook. "You highlight the important parts. This makes studying easier."

I nodded and started reading it. I opened the cap and started highlighting sentences.

"Beomgyu, not all of it." I stopped from what I am doing when she spoke and looked at me in disbelief.

"Why? All of these are important." I defended. Well, it is.

Ryujin shook her head and took the highlighter from my hand. She scooted closer to me and started pointing out the sentences I need to highlight.

I looked at her in shock but she didn't notice it. Uh, isn't this too close? No, I'm just overreacting. She isn't even bothered.

"Don't include every word. You can exclude the additional words like-" She stopped and slowly looked at me.

Now, this is close. Her eyes widen and I saw her face getting red. I looked away chuckling at her reaction.

"You get too flustered easily. I didn't know that." I spoke.

"Well, if you just stop staring at me and look at the damn textbook, then we are good." She crossed her arms.

"I wasn't staring at you." I furrowed my eyebrows.

I mean, yeah I was. But I was just thinking about how close we were earlier. Nothing too deep.
