THE DAY OF HARRY'S PARTY FINALLY ARRIVED. The trio were hanging out in Harry's unreasonably giant penthouse, sitting in his room while eating their favourite frozen yoghurt from across the street. Harry's place had always been comforting to the girls as they loved the big rooms and had visited since childhood. Norman Osborn was out of town for some science convention or something Iris couldn't remember, and he had bought his son a ticket for the Bahamas. This was Harry's last night before leaving, and he wanted to make it a memorable one.

"The party's not until later, why are we here? I'm sure we both have better things to do," Gwen complained, though she enjoyed the frozen yoghurt.

"Do you really?" Harry asked with that annoying tone of sarcasm. "Because you two are so busy watching superhero videos on a Friday night."

"Shut up," Gwen bit her bottom lip, hiding the small smile on her face. "I like superheroes."

"More like you love that Spider-Boy," Harry corrected, rolling his eyes.

It was true, Gwen was obsessed with watching his Youtube videos. The two blondes even met the superhero once when they were walking down the street — he saved a bus full of people, earning gasps and applause from the people living in Queens. Gwen, however, decided to scream "I love you, Spider-Man!" to the hero, and he in turn gave her a salute. She melted on the spot, Iris trying her best not to walk away. She never saw the appeal in superheroes.

She'd seen them as a nuisance, people who only caused damage and never actually helped many people. Innocent lives were killed when they were supposed to be saved, whilst infrastructure collapsed within a thirty-mile radius of The Hulk.

Gwen looked offended, squinting at Harry. "It's Spider-Man."

"Same thing," he replied dismissively.

"Whatever, he's just some guy in a hoodie, nothing that special," Iris rolled her eyes, seriously questioning Gwen's taste in men.

Gwen let out an extremely loud cough. "You have a major crush on Iron Man, you can't comment on my taste," she said smugly.

"Iron Man?" Harry sounded as though he was about to die of laughter. "He's like, fifty."

"He's . . . rich," Iris tried her best to defend herself, but Harry's hysterical laughter covered it up. It was warranted, Harry's father was Tony Stark's biggest competitor. And they were exactly alike. Both were middle-aged (though one was significantly more attractive, no offence to Harry's dad), both owners of billion-dollar companies, both had beautiful partners and were huge in New York.
