hey guys:) little a/n before i start this chapter... for anyone who's confused about the situation w/ ninis mom & stuff from the last chapter, basically nini has 2 moms like she does in the show. one of her moms (dana) got into a car crash and died. her other mom (carol) is still alive. just thought I'd clear up any confusion:) okay now enjoy the chapter !!

"Ej! Absolutely not!" I grunt. Apparently Nini's birthday was coming up and since the two of them are really close now, Ej wants me to help him and Gina throw her a surprise party.

"Come on! Please? It'll be fun! Just think of it as a normal party, don't even think about Nini." Ej begs.

"Dude, I'm not throwing a party for the person I hate the most on this whole planet." I glare at him.

"Why do you even hate her? Because she bumped into you? Ricky, that's childish. Ever heard of the term forgive and forget?"

"That's not why I hate her. I hate her because she's so fucking annoying. She can't admit when she's wrong, she's got a smart ass mouth that doesn't know when to shut up, she doesn't even appreciate the smallest of favours, she doesn't apologize, she's snobby, she's rude, shes-" I ramble, but get cut off by Ej.

"Okay! I get it. You hate her. But it's her birthday dude. It would mean something to me if you helped me out."

Ej has been a brother to me since kindergarten. He gets on my nerves a whole hell of a lot, but he's the one person who's constantly been there for me. I hate to admit it, but I'd honestly do anything for Ej. I feel lucky to have a great friend like him. And that's when I knew my answer.

"Fine. But I'm doing this for you, not for her." I sternly say, glaring at him.

"YES! Thank you Ricky! Come over later at 3:30. Me, you and Gi have some planning to do!" Ej says as he walks away from the empty hallway we were standing in.

"Can't wait." I mutter. Quite frankly, I didn't really like Gina either. I mean, she was better than Nini, but she still gets on my nerves.

"Yo, Ricky!" I hear a voice call from behind me. I turn around and I am shocked by who I see running up to me.

"Antoine?" I say with a shocked tone.

"I have a question." He blurts.

"Okay- what's your question?" I narrow my eyes at him.

"Is Nini single?"

I raise my eyebrows. Why the hell was he asking me this question? And also, how oblivious is this guy? Like seriously, anyone can see that Nini is clearly uncomfortable around this guy. But the conversation we had in my car kept playing in my head.

"I can handle myself." Nini says, an angry expression on her face.

"Noted. Next time you look like your in an uncomfortable situation I'll just back off and not say anything about it." I snap back.

"I don't know but I can tell she's REALLY into you. You should make a move on her." As soon as those words came out of my mouth, I immediately regretted them.

Antoine's face lit up with the brightest smile I've ever seen. "Really? Oh, thanks man!" He says, as he runs past me.
