Philza POV

Tommy packed a few extra things into his enderchest that he might need while they were at the cabin. He couldn't bring too many things with since I was going to be carrying him to the cabin, along with the supplies I had originally come for.

I had asked techno to make a harness a while back that would allow me to carry another person with me in case I ever had to. It was a fairly simple design, a large padded back and shoulder area with straps that went around my arms and legs. Tommy would be wearing a similar one, but instead, the padding was on the chest.

After about an hour we were both suited up and at the top edge of the prison. I had carried someone while flying before, but not for such a long distance. Sam worked to clip multiple carabiners and secure several safety straps and buckles. Tommy seemed both excited and nervous, shifting from foot to foot with his hands on the shoulder straps like a little kid on their first day of school.

I took a deep breath, focused on a point in the sky, and jumped. I unfolded my wings as my feet left the edge of the building, beginning to flap in strong slow motions as I climbed higher into the sky. Soon I was soaring high above the prison, Tommy looking around in awe at the new perspective. I laughed and ruffled his hair which now had a slight feathery feeling to it.

"How long until we'll be there?" Tommy shouted above the wind.

"About an hour, but we'll probably stop for a rest before then," I replied, checking my compass and veering slightly east.

a/n: ayo! sorry for two shorter chapters i a row. the next couple chapters are around 400 words, but chapter 5 is a bit longer so yeah. also! 100 reads in one day! pog!

short thing that happened yesterday as well: so basically i was walking down the side of this river thats by a park. its more of like a stream tho bc you can walk across without having to swim. anyways, i was walking on the rocks and there was a big frog, like really big. i wanted to catch it because frogs are pog. i tried to get it, but it swam to the other side of the river. okay. so i went upstream a bit until i could cross without stepping in the water. i almost fell since i had to go through trees, but eventually i made it to where the frog had gone. i tried to catch it again, but i failed and it went under one of the rocks. as i was searching for it, a large horsefly started buzzing around my head. now personally, anything small that makes a loud noise, like bees, usually make me jump or like, uhh, yip? kinda, ig. anyways big fly, by my ear, i jumped into the river. yeah. only one shoe got wet, but now i have to wear a wet shoe all day. in a parade thats gonna be like, 100 degrees. yeah
