Here's a Scrabble containing only 324 words (yeah it's pretty short). It's been a while since I posted but I don't have much time so here you go.

It's been a whole week since you got separated from Carlos, and in the midst of all this chaos, he didn't know if you were still alive. He would be lying if he said he wasn't afraid for your safety, believe me, he was way beyond worried. Both sides were at odds with one another. One side of Carlos still had hope, that maybe you found shelter, or some kind of safe house somewhere away from the infected.

But, the other part of him? Well, that was the problem. What if you didn't make it? And his hope was false? What if you were turned? No, he shouldn't think like that. He needed to be strong, not only for his sake but for yours, too. And if splitting up the team to cover more ground increases the chances of finding you, then that's what he'll do. Any shot count, long or short.

"Carlos, over here!! I found her!" Carlos heard his friend, T shout out to him. In that moment, he didn't realize how quick he acted on his feet until he was already within a close distance. The moment he locked eye contact with you, he was overjoyed and practically on the verge of tearing up as he knelt beside you, wrapping you in his arms. You on the other hand, were intact but you received plenty of scrapes and bruises, and luckily no bite wounds.

"Carlos.." your voice was faint and strained but still spoken with adoration. An entire week of hell was more than enough for you.

"I'm right here, baby. I'm so sorry I couldn't find you, sooner," cooed Carlos as he held your hand in his not soon before pressing your palm to his bruised cheek, holding it there and occasionally kissing your palm.

"It's alright. I'm alright, just a little tired," you reassured as you hugged each other close. From that point on, you never left Carlos' side.
