The atmosphere was silent, no one had spoken a word yet for a couple minutes as Donghyuck fiddled around with his fingers nervously. The uncomfortable silence was discarded when Ten cleared his throat, getting ready to speak the words on his mind.

"Donghyuck, I know you can't forgive me and I most certainly know you will not be able to forget but I just want you to know how terribly sorry I am for the way I've been treating you. There really is no excuse and I can not and will not justify myself by no means. But that doesn't mean I don't love you. I love you so much, Hyuckie we all do," Ten apologized while Johnny sat beside him, rubbing his husband's arm and Donghyuck listening intently.

"I'm not expecting you to open up so easily to us, especially not after everything that has happened, but I want you to feel better. I want to see my beautiful boy smile and be happy," Ten continued, a few droplets of tears falling down his cheek.

Despite Donghyuck being mad at both his parents, he could never hate them. He could never be insensitive towards them even after everything they have done to him. After all, the main reason this happened in the first place was because he was stupid enough to let his emotions get the best of him.

Donghyuck forced out a smile, his cheeks hurting because of this. His parents shook their heads.

"I'm happy, see?" Donghyuck lied and there he goes, trying to keep his feelings hidden from everyone again.

"No you're not. You don't have to lie. Donghyuck, please let us help you. I know you're not comfortable with talking with us but-"

"If you're suggesting therapy again, no way," Donghyuck blurted out. "Why should I go? So the doctor can diagnose me and tell me I'm all messed up mentally? No thanks, I already knew that."

"We know that you talk to Mark and we're really happy that you do, but Donghyuck you need professional help because we know you aren't saying everything on your mind," Ten responded with a frown.

Donghyuck looked away and kept quiet. He knew his papa was right, he does need professional help. The tanned male really does want to get better, he wants to smile and feel happier, but something keeps holding him down and he doesn't know what that something is or why it holds such a captivity on him.

"Donghyuck, how about you give it a try? And if you don't like it, you don't have to go anymore," Johnny suggested, catching Donghyuck's attention, his eyes pleading.

"You aren't doing well mentally and physically either, but you've been getting slightly better on that part of the spectrum. But we really think it his would be really good for you. It would be helpful," Ten told him and Donghyuck scoffed.

"So instead of you trying to deal with me, you're going to throw my problems at some stranger I don't even know?" Donghyuck retorted, his hands clutching together tightly.

"Look, it's not like that I promise you that. But Donghyuck, we don't know what else to do. We just want you to be happy and we want you to feel better," Johnny answered.

Donghyuck understands, he understands very clearly but he's denying it. He's denying the help because he's scared. He's scared of what the doctors will say. He's scared of where they'll put him. He's scared of opening up to his parents because he doesn't want them to feel bad more than they already do. But maybe opening up to a stranger would be easier?

After minutes and minutes of convincing, Donghyuck finally agreed to going to therapy which were to start directly after school on Monday. Donghyuck was nervous about it, but he's even more nervous sitting in front of his parents right now.

"Thank you Donghyuck. We're so proud of you for trying," Ten praised him and Donghyuck's head shot up.

Proud.
