Josuke x Reader Fluff

What a beautiful day it has been so far. Josuke and you had stolen away to France to attend the grand opening of Polnareffland, which is an amusement park founded by Josuke's nephew, Jotaro, and his odd yet charming French friend, Polnareff.

When Josuke mentioned to you that he had been invited to go and he was allowed to bring a plus one you figured he would invite either Okuyasu or Koichi. But, amazingly he wanted to invite you since it would be a special way to commemorate your first anniversary that was coming up.

You've been looking forward to this weekend for a couple of months and now that it was finally here, you were ecstatic to begin.

If only you hadn't lost sight of your dear Josuke.

How did this even happen? The pair of you had just gotten off this ride that spins around super fast and somehow you had been separated. You stepped up onto your tiptoes in an attempt to get a better view but the bustling crowd was overwhelming.

I guess I should just call him.

You dialed up his number on your cellphone and brought it up to your ear. You heard a couple of rings and then-

"Babe there you are! Why the hell did you run off?!" Josuke called from behind you.

You began to turn around just as Josuke enclosed you in a big bear hug.

"Hey, I wasn't the one who ran off! I thought you were right behind me?"

Josuke released you from his embrace and shyly averted his eyes. "Oh, I uh needed a minute to catch my breath. That ride was kind of-"

"Terrifying?" You suggested.

"N-nah, I was just caught off guard by the speed and the amount of spinning that was going on." Josuke put his hand on the back of his hand. "Guess I'm not built for this stuff."

"Well you don't have to join me for them, it's okay if you'd rather watch love." You flashed a reassuring smile.

"No way! We need to experience this whole amusement park together." Josuke brought both of your hands into his own. "Today's our first anniversary and I'll be damned if it isn't the best day of your life!"

Some of the surrounding people reacted fondly to Josuke's loud declaration which made you feel all too embarrassed. Your cheeks flushed and you broke eye contact. Swiftly, you turned around and pulled Josuke along making a quick getaway from the onlookers.

"Don't say stuff like that, oh my God do you want me to die?" You huffed under your breath.

Josuke began to laugh in his endearing way behind you and you had to bite your lip in order to not break out into a grin.

Once you were both out of the depths of the crowd you turned to Josuke and took a deep breath in.

"I hope I can make you just as happy as you make me Josuke." You buried your face into his chest and squeezed him as tight as you could.

Josuke welcomed you tenderly and sighed, "Love, you have no idea."

*Many hours later*

Your feet were aching slightly but you trudged on. This place was enormous! Although Josuke and you had been around since the morning, it seems that Polnareffland is infinitely huge.

You clutched onto the stuffed toy that Josuke had won for you at a balloon popping game. It was a black and white dog and it was so cute! But, you wondered why its features appeared so human-like...

"Hey, honey, do you need to rest for a while or are you okay to keep going?" Josuke asked.

"I'm alright, we still haven't hit so many of the rides. There's this one called The Great Crusade and it's supposed to be the tallest rollercoaster here!"

"Oh really..." Josuke began to look ill.

"Or uhm, maybe I should let you decide for once what we do. Sorry, I'm like a little kid in a candy store here." You gave a sheepish grin.

"No worries, I'm just happy that you're smiling so much. Even if it's because you like to risk your life at every chance you get." Josuke ruffled your hair slightly.

"C'mon it's fun! And I enjoy the adrenaline rush, it's better than drugs." You joked.

"Well how about we end off the day with that ride over there." Josuke pointed towards the left of you and there stood a fair-sized Ferris Wheel.

"Wow, you're definitely the romantic type aren't you?" You mused, giving him a playful nudge.

"Only for you." He gave you a wink in return.

Hand in hand, you guys went to wait in line for the Ferris Wheel. Thankfully, there wasn't too long of a wait and before you knew it, you were seated side by side in a cart.

Once inside, you took notice of the interior. It was substantially nicer than the average Ferris Wheel cart, the seats were made of plush and the walls were painted with various images. It seemed as though there was a story to be interpreted from the pictures.

"How cool, take a look at this babe." Josuke gestured towards one of the images. "This drawing resembles Jotaro don't you think?"

You peered over to where Josuke was pointing and he was right. It was like a cute, chibi version of the reserved marine biologist.

"I think they may be images detailing his travels in Egypt years ago. He doesn't talk about it much but he went with a group of people, including Polnareff." Josuke explained.

Josuke began to tell you more of what he knew and you listened intently. You rested your head on his shoulder and drank up his words, he was quite talented at storytelling.

ERCHH!!

Suddenly, the amusement ride came to a halt and it swung your cart. You lurched forwards but luckily Josuke was there to help you regain your balance.

"Damn, what the hell was that?" You questioned.

"No idea, but I don't believe that's what's supposed to happen," Josuke said. "Perhaps, I should go take a look."

Josuke lept out of the Ferris Wheel cart and begun to scale down towards the middle of the ride.

"Josuke are you out of your mind? What if you fall?! " You called out to him.

"Have a little faith babe!" You peered out over the edge and he was already halfway down.

You were then reminded of your lover's abnormal strength and his stand ability and breathed out a sigh of relief. This was nothing to Josuke, after all, he does even crazier shit back in Morioh.

Within a few minutes, the ride was back to full function. You relaxed into your seat and supposed you would meet Josuke at the ground.

"I'm back!"

You jumped and let out a yelp at Josuke's return. "Ah! Jesus Josuke, you didn't have to climb all the way back up here. You're doing too much to my heart today."

"Oh? Well, that's great to hear!"

"I never said that was a good thing." You gave a disapproving look to which your boyfriend ignored.

"I'm sorry, I don't like to leave you alone unless I can help it." Josuke grinned, a devilish look in his eye.

"Not very reasonable logic but okay." You conceded.

You both watched the blazing red sunset as the cart descended. Josuke and you exited the cart and made way towards the exit.

"Did you have a good anniversary my love?" Josuke asked as he wrapped an arm around you.

"The best." You answered.
