A sudden shock was sent up my throat as i felt my mouth salivating, my gag reflex almost kicked in as i covered my mouth with the sleeve of my Hanfu.
"You need to spew too? Yes, i know. Me too. It's my first time too, you see." A girl spoke beside me, we looked at each other as i awkwardly blurted a chuckle.
"I do not wish to face the royals even if it's an honor to perform in front of them." I frantically sighed as i wrapped my dark voile around my mouth again, adjusting it on the bridge of my nose.
"But, sadly you have to. You're the written sword dancer in the middle of the circle." The girl patted my back comfortingly as i snickered.
My eyes landed on her right hand as she fidgets on a wooden.. plate?
My mouth went agape. It was an Identification Tag!
My eyes darted towards her face then back at the wooden tag, instinctively reading the carved characters in the plate.
'Choi Yujin'
It wrote as i soon turned my head away, hearing a loud applause from the villagers nearby, hooting and cheering for the performers on the circle at the meantime.
The shaky feeling grew larger as in ten minutes, we were the next ones to perform. I took another deep breath.
But i knew i had to relax, i have practiced and prepared for this for hours under the hot weather yesterday.
My mind wandered off as the image of the bizarre Lake came upon my thoughts that somehow calmed me down.. and there i knew i was ready..
As if on cue, the Gong Bell rung.

3rd Person's POV
Roars and bangs of drum started echoing throughout the Plaza as the Villagers gathered around the circle, cheering in excitement for the next performers.
The Princesses stared at everyone who had big and wide excited smiles on their faces, the other villagers that passed by stopped on their tracks as more and more people gathered around the Plaza Circle.
The drums paused as everyone did too, the indistinct chatter, the vendors from the stalls nearby encouraging the villagers who's passing by to buy from their stalls, the laughter and cheers of children running around the circle was the only sound everyone could hear in the meantime.
The Gayageum strung and rung as the Sword Dancers finally entered the circle.
Everyone's cheers and roars resumed by the entrance of the female sword dancers wearing red Hanfu attires carrying Chinese Sabers.
