"Ariana."
"Dray, I can explain."
"Go on, I'd love to hear it." She looked down, trying to figure out what she should say.
"I promise you, this was my first lesson. I owed Fred and George a favour and Harry was trying to teach them a spell but they couldn't do it due to his teachings." Draco smirked.
"So, Fred and George asked me to teach the group as I knew it and was apparently the best in our year, yourself being second of course." She joked causing Draco to shake his head while smiling.
"And everyone got it, and to be honest it made me feel great. Before you all came in, I'd helped Fred, George, Hermione and Luna."
"Looney Lovegood?"
"Luna and she's very kind." She argued back, defending her new friend.
"So what was the spell?" He asked, leaning against a column.
"The spell to ward off dementors."
"Can you show me it?" He asked, interested to see what she could do better than Pottah, though he had no doubts she wouldn't be.
"Expecto patronum." Yet again, a dragon flew out of her wand and flapped their wings around before disappearing.
"A dragon huh?" He teased. "I wonder why that is." Ariana rolled her eyes.
"I'm sorry for not telling you, it happened so fast, I was pulled away and hour ago."
"Which was after you'd last seen me." He said, finally understanding.
"So, my girlfriend is the best in our year?" He said, walking over to lift her and swing her around as the two laughed.
"Do you reckon you can teach me?" He asked.
"Yes!" Ariana continued to explain what to do and Draco had thought of his favourite memory, asking Ariana to be his girlfriend. What his patronus turned out to be was a large cat, no doubt symbolising Ariana's love for cats and her beloved Stan.
"You have a cat!" She excitedly said as Ariana jumped up and down. He just nodded in response, his disappointment was there but it went away as soon as he saw her excitement and glee.
"Can we go to the kitchens now? I think we've missed dinner"
"Of course and you know I believe you right." She kissed him in response and dragged him towards the kitchens and greeted the elves and talking about their days, apologising for not visiting them for a while.
"That's okay Miss Snape, we're very happy to see you now."
"I have a present for Dobby, is he here?" Dobby's head popped up as he ran towards Ariana.
"Mistress Ariana?"
"Remember Dobby, it's just Ariana." But when he turned to face her he realised one of his old masters was there anf started to shake.
"Dobby, it's okay! Draco is nice now, aren't you Draco?" She asked, with a face that said 'be nice or else'.
"Yes, I am, I think Ariana has a present for you." As soon as he said that, she pulled out a sock from her pocket and presented it to Dobby's whose eyes lit up. Afterwards, Dobby had proceeded to bring them some desserts and they said goodbye, rushing to Ariana's dorm.
The next day, all of the students found out Dumbledore was a wanted man and Dolores Umbridge was the Headmistress of Hogwarts. Hell would start for all students against her.
