3rd person's POV:

The time Taehyun and Hueningkai spent together was always loud, full of laughter and screams. Mostly Hueningkai's dolphin ones. The younger's mom immediately recognized Taehyun when he came over for the first time in a long while. Even with his new hairstyle, and red hair.

Hueningkai would always ask about how Taehyun and Beomgyu were doing. Taehyun wasn't quite sure of what he should or should not tell Hueningkai, since he knew that the taller still has a crush on him, but, as Hueningkai said, he wants to be a good friend to Taehyun, so he insisted on Taehyun spilling all the good tea.

"Does your mom know that you had a crush on me?" Taehyun asked as the two were laughing again. "I mean, a year ago. Before I switched schools."

"Nope. I never told anybody. Why?"

"Just wondering."

"Do your parents know about you and Beomgyu yet?" Hueningkai asked to continue the talk to which Taehyun shook his head.

"I haven't told them yet."

"What's stopping you?"

The question put Taehyun into a slight thought. He knew the answer, but couldn't put his thoughts into one sentence.

"I don't even know.. I guess I just.. don't want to ruin Beomgyu's reputation, you know? Like-- you remember how it has been for us in the previous school when 'we' were a simple rumor." he paused. "I guess, I just don't want Beomgyu to face the same consequences when he is just being himself. And the same goes for me."

"Hm, I see where you are coming from. But you won't be able to keep yourself a secret for too long. Sooner or later it will come out somehow. It's pretty basic to say, but it's true. Besides, it's just a personal feeling when you want to announce to everyone who your soulmate is. If it were me, honestly everyone knew by now who I am dating." the younger laughed. "Obviously, with my partner's consent, of course."

Taehyun just simply smiled. "Whoever that's gonna be, they're very lucky."

"Yahhh, don't make me shy." the boy laughed again.

"Oh do I~?" Taehyun leaned in a bit, teasing the younger with a smirk.

"Leave your confident gay mode for Beomgyu-hyung," Hueningkai answered, placing his finger on Taehyun's forehead and pushing him away, smirking back.

"Good idea. Let's just watch a movie." the red-head suddenly changed the topic and put the game controller away, as the two got comfortable.

Taehyun's POV:

I fell asleep at Hueningkai's and the next morning to school, we went together. But I had no idea what I would come to as I entered the school doors like I always did.

Further on in the day, I decided to check my phone which had been blowing up with notifications. At first, I didn't pay much attention to the pictures and texts posted, but I soon realized...

Those were the pictures from a year ago. And they were pictures of me and Hueningkai together. Some pictures are even seen to be taken by other students or even CCTV camera footage screenshots.

WHERE DID PEOPLE GET THOSE FROM?!!

I then read the texts on the posts.

"Are they dating??"

"Hueningkai and Taehyun??!"

"They were rumored to be dating in the previous school they went to together."

"I actually shipped Beomgyu-oppa and Taehyunie-oppa together."

"TAEHYUN-AH-OPPA CANNOT BE DATING ANYONE!!!!!!!"

"He's too cold-hearted."

"What did they even find in each other?"

"Can people stop normalizing those two being together? It's gross."

"Is that why he is not dating anyone? What a heart-player."

"#tyunningreal?!!"

All the memories flew right into my head. How did everyone find out?!

I saw Beomgyu approach me as people were giving me more glares and stares. It felt like all eyes were on me only. My phone was blowing up with a bunch of mentions and also messages. Now from Soobin-hyung.

By reading the messages, I could tell that he was confused and worried.

"Taehyun-ah--" I heard Beomgyu-hyung say as he approached me.

"Don't start this now. Not here." I answered before even letting him speak.

"But--"

"Let's wait for Hueningkai and talk it out," I said and left the hall, and led Beomgyu with me outside.

Those rumors weren't affecting me anymore, but the memories still flashed in my head. 

Even outside in our courtyard, people knew about the rumors, and of course, they were chatting about it as well.

"Sometimes it really is annoying." I mumbled to myself, referring to me constantly hearing every single word that was said about 'me and Huening'. It's not whispering if you constantly hear the same thing over and over again from wherever you go.

Yeonjun-hyung and Soobin-hyung eventually noticed me and Beomgyu standing by one of the trees in the courtyard. Great. I was waiting for Hueningkai. I don't need further questions from those two.

I was quiet. I wasn't even talking to Beomgyu-hyung. Even though he was my boyfriend, I couldn't think of anything else than my friends right now. I never told Soobin-hyung about my past, and now it's just our for everyone to see.

I felt worse than shitty.

This was not how I wanted him to find out. I don't know if I wanted him to find out in the first place. I never was ready to tell him and now the guilt was eating me inside.

I felt bad for Huening too. We just got our friendship back together. Was it the end? He will hear constant ship names whenever he and I would be spotted together.

And Beomgyu-hyung... don't feel like it would be right to hear that your own boyfriend is being with someone else because of stupid rumors. Maybe he doesn't even want to tell people about us because of those malicious bullcrap rumors!

Or maybe it's just me who doesn't want his reputation to be ruined because of me. Or is it just my own excuse?

"Taehyun-ah, do you wanna get out of here?" I heard someone ask and that brought me back to reality.

It was Yeonjun-hyung. It was as if he read my mind and suggested just what I needed.

"Sure. I will just text Hueningkai later today.." I said and the four of us left the school. It was time to go home anyway. This whole time, Beomgyu-hyung was holding my hand.
