The Adventures of Parenthood with Catra and Adora (and Finn!)

     Adora and Catra were lazing about on the couch while Double Trouble took care of the kids for today, it had taken them awhile to actually allow Finn to hang out with Double Trouble despite the lizard like creature showing deep feelings of love in their heart for Adora and Catra's son. Though they had been concerned about him, they knew that once he got older he would drift away from his parents like all teenagers do but they didn't think he'd be so..distant. Even when they talked as a family it always stemmed into an argument. Adora sighed and shook away her thoughts as she rested her head on Catra's chest, "Where did we go wrong?" Her whisper was barely audible to the Magicat but her ears picked it up anyway. "We didn't, I think we did good as parents. Families argue, hun. Teenagers grow to be curious and rebellious. We have to let Finn discover himself." She explained softly as she raked her nails through the blonde covered head. Their relaxing moment was interrupted by Finn and Mara bursting through the door, their hands on their hips with proud and goofy grins on their faces. It took Adora a good minute but when she saw what was going on she nearly hung DT up on the wall by his throat. Finn and Mara both had the same haircut, it was shaved on one side of the head and had a bright color dyed into it. Catra ended up bursting into a fit of howling laughter before Adora joined in with her. Double Trouble looked ashamed as he hid behind the two children but he was glad the parents were finding it amusing. Yep. Just a casual day.
