Lover (Aether x Modern Reader)

Y/N's POV:

I was confused. How did I become Aether's lover? Which I'm not complaining. But how did that happened?

"What's wrong, Y/N?" Aether ask.

"Nothing's wrong, I'm just thinking. By the way, how long I was asleep?" I said to the blonde male.

"About 5 hours." He said.

Then Aether explained to me that he's been in this island for 2 months and that's how he met Paimon. He saw me fell from the sky and saved me.

"So your telling me that, you were here in this island for 2 months and you haven't search around if there's a tow-" I paused, and saw a blue slime suddenly popped up from the ocean.

"Hey Aether, don't you have a weapon with you?" I asked.

"I do, but it doesn't look like the sword I used to back then." Aether said.

"Let me try summoning my weapon." I said.

I try summoning my weapon out of thin air, wishing that I would get scythe. But I ended up getting...

Shinobu's katana... again?

'How did Shinobu's katana get here again? First when I got isekai'd to Tpn Shinobu's sword was there. And now here in Genshin Impact Shinobu's sword is here with me.' I thought.

Me and Aether attack the blue slime, of course me and him used basic attacks. I'm not sure if Breathing Technique still works, it's been a long time I used it.

"Hey guys, Paimon thinks that we should go to a Statue of The Seven." Paimon said.

Me and Aether nod in agreement, Aether grab my hand and follow the emergency food.

While we were walking around, I was in deep thoughts about what just happened today. First I got isekai'd again, second I am Aether's lover even though I knew that Aether doesn't have a lover, third how did Shinobu's katana got here again.

Now here we are on the cliff looking at the view.

"Wow... It's so beautiful." I mumbled.

'I wish my phone was here with me.' I thought.

"That's a Statue of The Seven!" Paimon said, pointing at the statue.

"There a few of these statues scattered across the Land to show The seven's protection over the world. Among the seven gods, this god controls the wind." Paimon explained.

"Paimon not sure whether the god you're looking for is the Anemo God, but... Paimon will take you two to the Anemo God's place first, and there's a reason why~" She said.

The three of us made our way to go to the statue, Aether in the other hand still holding my hand and refuse to let go.

"As we all know, poetry and language flow like the wind. There'll definitely someone there who knows about your sister. At least, that's what Paimon thinks!" Paimon said.

"Whether the gods actually answer you is a different story. You never know unless you try." She said.

The three of us stop walking and look at the river.

"You two can swim right over." Paimon said, as floats across the river.

Aether finally let go of my hand and started swimming.

'Good thing I know how to swim, or else I look like an idiot who doesn't know how to swim.' I said to myself inside my head, and I started swimming.

Now here we are in front of the statue, Aether walked over to the statue and placed his hand on it.
Suddenly the statue glowed, a blue wisp appeared and went to Aether.

"Ooh! Did you just feel the element of the world? Seems all you had to do was just touch the statue and you got the power of Anemo!" Paimon said.

"Wow, sana all, Aether." I said.

"What was that?" Aether ask.

"Nothing!" I said.

"As much as they may want it, people in this world can never get a hold of powers as easily as you..." Paimon said.

"I think I know why, it's because..." Aether was cut off by Paimon.

"Ah-ha, it's because you're not from this world to begin with." Paimon said.

'Baby I'm not even here I'm a ✨ hallucination✨' I thought.

"If we keep heading west from here, we'll eventually reach Mondsadt, the City of Freedom. Mondsadt is the city of wind, because they're worship the God of Anemo. So perhaps, because you got the power from the God of Anemo, you can find some clues there." Paimon said.

"There are also lots of bards, so perhaps one of them has heard news of your sister." She said.

'Lol it's Venti...'

"Let's move then! The elements in this world responded to your prayers and Paimon thinks that's a lovely sign." Paimon said.
