It took us about 30 minutes to get to the restaurant. Most of the drive we talked about schedules and listened to music but half the time I was just wondering if I should tell him about the fact that I agreed to go on a date with Ni-ki. I wanted to tell him, I really did. It only felt fair. I opened my mouth to speak when Mark got to it first,

"We're here!" He said as he parked the car. Shoot... I let out a chuckle, "I'll get your door." He said while getting out. I'm gonna lose my mind.

"Alright." I say, deciding to not let myself over think about Ni-ki and just let tonight be tonight.

He opens the door and I hop out,

"Thank you." I say smiling which is returned with a smile,

"Let's go." He said and we started walking in.

After we we're seated and given menus it was quiet. Not because we had nothing to say but because we we're, obviously, reading the menus. Kind of. I look over my menu at Mark,

"Psst." I say over the menu. He looks up wide eyes,

   "Huh?" I look around,

"What are you gonna get?" I asked,

"I-... I don't know yet." He said, "Why?" He asked,

"I was gonna copy you." I said, he started laughing a little,

"Oh my god, just get whatever you want." He said, shaking his head and smiling. I suck air between my teeth and start to read the menu again.

After a few minutes the waiter comes back around and we both order our food and drinks, just water. Yeah, not making that mistake again,

"Oh! And can we have one bottle of... Tempranillo? Was is?" He said, looking at me. I almost froze but I smiled and nodded. Oh, Christ...

"Of course." The waiter said, bowing his head and walking away.

We've been doing more talking than eating because there is so much more the Mark than he thought there was. I love the way that his eyes light up when he talks about something he likes or even just remembered. The problematic part was when we both agreed to play the 'fun fact' game. Basically you give a deep, personal detail about yourself as casually as you can while referring to it as just a fun fact. I took a sip of wine,

"Fun fact:-" Mark started, "I have attachment issues. Get attached very quickly to people and it makes it very hard for me to do anything without them for long periods of time." O-oh dang...

"Ouch.. Fun fact! I have commitment issues that make me want to run away when something doesn't seem temporary anymore!" Mark made a nervous face,

"Well, that's unfortunate." He said making me laugh, "Wait, that's perfect! We're like completely opposites. Maybe we could learn something from each other, that way we could be normal people, eh?" I laugh,

"Fair point! Ooh, I have another fun fact! I haven't said I love you to anyone since I was 13. AND it was at a concert and I just yelled it from the crowd like everyone else." I said. Mark looked like he was horrified at the same time he wanted to laugh,

"What?! I say I love you all the time... To friends, co-workers, my BOSS, Johnny! Like... What?!" He was so confused, I love it,

"Well, that is SO not me." I said through a chuckle,
