THE NEXT DAY

NEWTS POV

It's the next day and I was awoken by the sun shining in my eyes. It took me a minute or two to remember what happened yesterday.

'OH MY GOD! ME AND Y/N KISSED YESTERDAY!' I remembered. I was over the moon yesterday and today. I wonder what's to come today. I just hope and pray nothing's gonna be awkward between us.

I was walking towards the kitchen to get some breakfast. I got my eggs and bacon and walked into the hall with my food in hand. I kinda like to eat with alby when he's around, which Is basically never. I either eat with him or in the deadheads by myself. I know sad, but peaceful. there I was looking for the glade's leader, when I saw a certain h/c-haired girl, sitting with tommy, minho and chuck. her smile enlightened me, It made me smile. I couldn't stop looking at her, not In a creepy way, In an admire ring way. I hope. well that's what was playing In my head. that was until she turned her head and looked at me. she smiled.

'thank god' I thought and took a deep breath. she actually smiled at me.

'god I love her smile' I thought and began to walk out the hall, so I wouldn't screw anything up. she turned back and waved at me goodbye, which I smiled In return, considering I had a plate of food In my hand, which I definitely did NOT want to loose otherwise fry would practically kill me for wasting his food.

SAME TIME

YOUR POV

I turned my head to see a certain blonde-haired boy looking in my direction. at me. It looks like he was kinda admiring me, not In a creepy way, like some of the other boys here. thank god newt wasn't. I mean, newt was always the respectful type, like he wouldn't do anything that would make me uncomfortable, which made me like him so much more. I smiled at him, he smiled back.

after a little bit of time, he began to walk away. right before, he was about to step out of the hall, we both looked at each other again, still smiling. I waved at him, grinning. obviously I didn't expect him to wave back since he had a plate In both of his hands, so his smile grew larger, which made a light inside me shine bright.

"y/n?" someone asked me from behind.
"ugh! not again. y/n!" the voice said again, sending me back to reality. I turned back and saw the three boys giving me 'the look'.

"what?" I asked them.

"can you stop staring at your precious blondie for two shucking seconds?" minho teasingly asked me.

"I was not staring at him, I was uh, I was just-" I began, that was until the three boys began laughing at me because I couldn't answer a simple ass question.
"shuck off," I said, smiling.

TIME SKIP

Y/N, MINHO AND THOMAS HAVE ALREADY RAN

me, minho and thomas finally finished running today and I am exhausted. after we completed running, me and minho put away our gear away, as long as thomas'. while we were walking to the hut, we were talking about random stuff that we could think of.
