Percy and I followed Chiron throughout camp. We passed the volleyball pit at one point and campers began to point at him.

"Just ignore them," I sighed, looking at the sneers the Ares kids wore. "News of you beating the Minotaur spread quick."

"Great," Percy hugged. He looked up to the Big House and pointed. "What's up there?"

"Just the attic," Chiron said quickly.

"Somebody lives there?" Percy persisted.

"No," Chiron said through slightly gritted teeth. "Not a single living thing. Come along, children, lots to see."

We arrived at the strawberry fields, campers picking the berries and a satyr played his reed pipe. It was one of my favorite places to relax, letting the smell waft and laugh as the satyrs tried to catch the nymphs.

"Coriane!" Katie yelled and waved me over, grinning. "So, what's the juice on the new guy?"

The question made me uncomfortable, why was she wanting to know so bad? She knew everything she needed, a new camper who was able to take down the Minotaur. "His name is Percy, that's about it."

Katie rolled her eyes. "I'm sure there's more than that, come on, tell me."

"Look, he finally came around and he's having a strange day, Chiron hasn't even broken the news he's a demigod yet I don't think. He's stressed and nervous and any emotions that go with it," I sighed. "He just needs time to adjust before everyone starts tearing into him."

Katie flinched. "Gods, sorry Coriane, didn't know you'd already laid claim on him."

"Lay claim?" I threw my hands up. "I can't lay claim on a person! If you want to know about him so much, go ask him yourself!"

"Coriane," Chiron said sternly from behind me. "Come along, we're going to the woods."

I nodded and he went back to Percy, who was looking at me with a frown. I looked to Katie. "You will leave him alone."

Katie's expression went a little blank before she nodded. I hesitated at that before walking away. That was definitely weird. I shook it off as entered.

There it was, her pine tree.

"The woods are stocked, if you care to try your luck, but go armed," Chiron told Percy. Percy just looked confused.  "You'll see. Capture the flag is Friday night. Do you have your own sword and shield? Ah, no, I don't suppose you do. A size five will do, I'll visit the armory later.

"Mine's a four, Chiron," I added and he only hummed.

We left the woods and went around the rest of camp. Everything was full of campers who stopped what they were doing to watch us walk by.

"Sword and spear fights?" Percy asked as we walked by the arena.

"Luke and I lead the sword fights on the individual level... Cabin is another story." I cringed. It sucked being so good but none of my siblings liked it.

"Ah, the mess hall," Chiron announced.

I looked over. It was a pavilion framed in white Greek columns overlooking the sea. It held a dozen picnic tables made from stone, and no roof or walls. It was where we ate every meal, it was where laughter was shared between siblings.

"What do you do when it rains?" Percy thought aloud.

"We still have to eat, don't we?" Chiron answered.

Finally, we reached the Cabins. The Cabins were arranged in a U shape, facing the common area that was filled with statues, fountains, flower beds... you get the picture. In the center of that, there was the fire pit lined with stone. The flames were lit all day, campers taking turns stoking the flames.

"Zeus and Hera?" Percy guessed, pointing to the two largest Cabins.

"Correct,"

"They look empty,"

"Servers of the Cabins are. No one ever stays in one or two."

Chiron and I went to keep walking but Percy stopped. We were in front of Cabin Three, Poseidon's Cabin. I'd never seen the inside, but the outside was a gray stone with seashells and coral pieces, it looked like an underwater monument.

Chiron pulled Percy away and we kept on walking past the Ares Cabin. They gave their regular sneers to me before turning their attention to Percy. That's when it dawned on me, Percy had beat the Minotaur, one of the most difficult feats and he just stole it from them.

They were going to eat him alive.

Clarisse, the worst of the Ares kids, almost turned red, and I quickly grabbed Percy's arm and kept him walking.

Then we walked by my Cabin. I couldn't help but cringe at it. It was a Barbie Dream House, bright pinks and blues covering it. I hated being associated with it.

When I came back to the real world, we were in front of Cabin Elven, Hermes. Annabeth was sitting on the porch of the Cabin, reading her book over Greek architecture.

"Annabeth," Chiron smiled as she looked up. "I have masters' archery class at noon. Would you join Coriane and take Percy from here?"

"Yes, sir," Annabeth nodded, placing her bookmark in.

"Cabin Eleven," Chiron motioned. "Make yourself at home."

Percy walked up the sets and tripped and I had to stifle my giggle. I cleared my throat. "Percy Jackson, meet Cabin Eleven."

"Regular or undetermined?" One of the Stolls asked.

"Undetermined."

Everyone groaned, the dreaded fate. Luke came forwards and flashed a smile before he started speaking; "Now, now, campers. That's what we're here for. Welcome, Percy. You can have that spot of the floor, right over there."

"This is Luke," Annabeth said, smiling brightly at him. I knew that look. "He's your counselor for now."

"For now?" Percy asked.

"You're undetermined. They don't know ow what Cabin you belong to, so you're here. Cabin Eleven takes all newcomers, all visitors. Naturally, we would. Hermes, our patron, is the god of travelers." Luke explained.

Annabeth still had that dazed, awed look. She had a crush on him, no matter how many times she denied it. I probably had one as well. We've known each other for five years, we've gone through a whole ton together. He was kind, patient, a good person. Him being cute was just a plus.

But he was nineteen, it would be concerning if he had any interest that went beyond platonic.

After that whole thing, we walked out of the Cabin.
