Som and Ishaani were standing on the stage and Pandit ji was reciting some mantras for their upcoming happy life they are going to live together......
Pand: ab ladka ladki ko angoothi pehnaaye...
Som looked at Bondita for ring.... she smiled and opened a beautiful red heart shaped box and forwarded it to him..... he took that diamond ring and forwarded his hand to Ishaani gesturing her to give her hand in his..... she looked at him with a sweet smile with tears in her dark kohled eyes..... and same was with Som..... they both got emotional seeing that finally the moment arrived for which they were waiting for 6 long years...... finally their wait is over.... after 1 year's love and then 5 years long separation they are finally getting together.... these rings were not only just rings for them.... they were a band for them which will now scream that they are tied together for eternity..... only Som knew how he felt when she suddenly left him without letting him know where she was going.... when is she going to return.....will she ever return to him back??..... was there love nothing for her??..... there were so many questions in his crying heart but no one was there to answer them..... the only ray of hope in his life was Mr. Chaterjee's one line "ab to London se barristery krke hi wapas aaegi"...... on the other hand Ishaani...... she felt more pain in her heart than him when she left.... because after her dada's demise.... he was the only one who was with her.... who made a different kind of place in her heart.... she never showed others that she was in pain.... she was missing someone badly.... she never ever brought a single crease on her forehead hinting other's that there is someone whom she left behind without informing him... she was living in guilt.... immense guilt.... but she was herself helpless.... the only question which was running in her heart was "will she ever be able to meet her love again???" ...... because somewhere she had accepted the fact that once she will return India... her father will tie her to some other man and Som will also get tied to another woman may be for his family.... but destiny is never so cruel...... their bond was already tied in heaven then who can oppose the destiny.....
Som looked in her eyes and nodded in no gesturing her not to cry.... this is the most beautiful moment of their life.... they have to cherish it... not to spoil it by crying remembering their past..... she too nodded her head indicating that she is fine.... she smiled at him and kept her hand in his..... he slipped the ring in her ring finger and all the others hooted and clapped enjoying the moment..... the couple giggled looking at the excitement on others faces......

Ishaani looked beside her.... there Manorama was standing holding a box in her hand with her beautiful and calming smile..... Ishaani was so nervous but Manorama blinked her eyes to her assuring that nothing to get nervous.... go ahead..... she too reciprocated the smile and took the ring from the box and then looked at Som...... he forwarded his hand to her.... but because of her nervousness.... her hands were trembling..... Som noticed this... thus, he held her trembling hand in his and squeezed it a bit in order to calm her... and his efforts worked.... she took a deep breath and slid the ring in his finger and once again the hall echoed with hooting and clapping sound.......
