In the Morning
Slowly opening your eyes, your vision came into focus as you stood up. You remembered what your friend had told you yesterday. Even if you guys didn't really have a fight, it sure felt like one. You hated the thought of F/N being mad at you; you hoped they would forgive you.
Brushing your H/C hair out of your face, you made your way downstairs to make breakfast. You decided to have pancakes.
After making and eating them, you quickly grabbed your keys and headed outside.
You got in your car and started driving to Circus Baby's Pizza World. You were supposed to pick up your uniform for the night shift tonight. Part of you was nervous but also excited. You tried not to let F/N's words get to you.
They're just rumours, Y/N, just rumours.
At Circus Baby's Pizza World
Parking your car, you made your way inside the building. It was quite big and had tons of colour. You looked around the place, no sign of any workers or animatronics. Where were they?
Maybe I'm early. That's got to be it.
You made your way to the office. You couldn't believe you were actually starting tonight. It seemed unreal, like yesterday only went by like a breeze. It was all happening too fast. Too fast for you to keep up with time.
Pushing the door open, you made your way into the office. It was quite small, but not small enough to be cramped. The walls were aligned with pictures. Specifically pictures of the animatronics. Circus Baby, Ballora, Funtime Freddy, and Funtime Foxy.
Taking your gaze to the middle of the room, your eyes stopped at a wooden desk. Sitting in the chair, was a middle-aged man, typing away on his laptop. You were sure it was the man you spoke with on the phone. There was only one way to find out.
Walking over, you cleared your throat to get the man's attention.
"Oh, I apologize," he said, closing his laptop. "I didn't see you there."
You smiled, finding the man's apology amusing. "It's alright, I think you were the one I spoke on the phone with."
The man looked at a piece of paper. "I've talked to many people over the phone. Mind giving me your name?"
"I'm Y/N L/N," you told him. "I applied for the night shift."
"Ah, Y/N," he smiled, standing up. "Wait right here, I've got your uniform in the back."
Nodding, you sat down on a nearby chair and waited. You checked the clock, two minutes had passed. You looked at the ground and back at the clock. Five minutes passed, what was taking the man so long?
After what seemed like forever, the man returned with a purple uniform. You took it from his hands and gently placed it into your bag.
"Thank you, sir," you walked past him. "I'll be on my way now."
Making your way to the door, you suddenly stopped. This man must know something. Something about the rumours, something about this empty place. He knew something. You were sure he would tell you if you asked. After all, you were now an official employee.
