"I'm glad you're happy, Care. I miss seeing that smile."

"So are you with Lexi in the afterlife?"

"Yeah. We found peace together. I get to be with my best friend all the time, and every now and then I check in on my wife." Which caused Caroline to giggle.

"I thought I'd be sad when I came here, but I'm not. You're my best friend Stefan and I miss you so much. I love you."

Stefan smiled sweetly at her and then slowly faded away.

Caroline waited for a moment there finally letting some good memories flash through her mind. She sighed and then smiled standing up . She kissed her hand and pressed it against Stefan's name. She slid her hands in the pocket of her hoodie and walked out of the crypt to be greeted by Klaus.

"Did I wake you?" She asked.

"No, but your missing presence did. I just got here, and something in me told you'd be here. I picked these, so we could put them in the crypt. Maybe to delay me a bit so you could have more time with him." Klaus handed her a bouquet of calla lilies. "Calla Lilies represent marriage. I felt they'd fit here."

Caroline smiled at him. "I woke up with this sort of aching in my chest that felt like it was leading me somewhere. I found myself here. I was scared to come here and talk to him."

"Because of me?"

"No. Of course not. Because I'm a different person than I was when I was with him. It was kind of silly, but I'm better now." She handed the flowers back to Klaus. "Why don't you put them in there yourself. I have a feeling you have some things you'd like to talk about with him." She kissed him on the cheek. "I'm going to head home and go to bed. Bye" she vamped away.

Klaus sighed and stepped inside the crypt where he saw his old friend leaning against the wall. "Aw you brought me flowers, Klaus?"

"Bugger off." Klaus rolled his eyes and then placed the flowers into the built in vase next to his name. "Brother, husband, friend." Klaus read the words. "It's strange to think one of my oldest friends is gone. To save the world, no doubt. You set the bar pretty high, friend."

"Ahhh you're doing just fine. From what I hear you also saved the world from the Hollow. I also heard you're dating my wife which means she's not lonely and sad, and she's my whole world so you basically have saved the world twice." They both laughed.

"Do you hate me? For being with Caroline?" Klaus finally turned around and looked at Stefan.

"Well too be fair, you had a thing for her first. Had you played your hand just a little different you two would be married right now and who knows where or what I'd be."

"I'm a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. If she would have picked me over Tyler back then I wouldn't have had Hope. I might not have went back to New Orleans which means my family's lives would be different. She probably wouldn't have had her girls which is her reason for existing. Everything happened exactly like it was supposed to. I was sorry to hear about your death though."

"It sucked actually. I died on my wedding night to save the world from Hell fire and kill Katherine. You know if you would've just handled her when you had the chance..." Stefan started smiling.

"I was a bit distracted the day I came back for her demise." Klaus smirked to himself.

"Alright. I don't to hear about you screwing my wife." Stefan put his hands up. "Anyways, thanks for stopping in. It was nice to see you again."

"You too, mate." Klaus smiled as he turned back towards the gravestone and Stefan disappeared. "I will only do right by you." Klaus whispered and then sped back home where he slipped into bed next to a sleeping Caroline.

*6AM*

*buzz buzz*

"Hello?" Caroline said sleepily as she answered her phone.

"Ms. Forbes, it's Landon. I've got some news."

"Hey Landon, what's up?" Caroline sat up in her bed and looked over at Klaus who was blinking the sleep from his eyes still laying down. He appeared to be naked and sheet that was over his waist was not doing a very good job hiding his morning wood.

"I don't think Professor Saltzman was looking for any monster that night, I think he was looking for the monster. All the clues and notes he has written down are all Malivore signs."

Caroline snapped from her dirty thoughts after hearing Malivore. "Do you know where he could be?"

"No, but he has to be close. Professor Saltzman was found in the woods so he had to have been there at the time. Wade and I are still digging, but I wanted you to know about that part. We'll keep looking and call back if we find anything else."

"Thanks Landon." Caroline hung up and looked over at Klaus who was smirking at her. "What?"

"Well Ms. Forbes I do believe I saw you... what are the kids calling it these days? Checking me out?"

Caroline rolled her eyes and then leaned over to give him a kiss. After a long passionate kiss she let her lips hover above his mouth. "Want to see something really cool?" She whispered. He softly nodded at her and brushed her lips one more time.

Caroline stood on her side of the bed and undid the top two buttons of her pajama shirt. She licked two of her fingers and then slipped her hand into her shirt to play with her nipples. It felt amazing, but she made her eyes lock on Klaus who was watching her hand in her shirt. She quickly unbuttoned the rest of her shirt leaving her in only her pajama shorts. "Ready for the cool part?"

"That wasn't the cool part?" Klaus said with a sexy smile and his cock fully erect beneath the sheet.

"Uh uh." She shook her head and then within a second Klaus moaned out in pleasure insanely loud as he felt a tightness around his member. Caroline had taken her shorts off and vamped over to Klaus taking him completely inside her within just a second at vampire speed. "Good thing your room is sound proof." They made love for several hours until Caroline's alarm for the morning went off. "I love you." She smiled back and threw her arms around his neck and pulling him into her. "Will you go downstairs and make breakfast since Josie is here?" She said with puppy dog eyes.

"Of course I'll compel the maid to make us breakfast." He smirked at her.

She pushed him off with her vamp strength and he flew across the room but landed on his feet with the same smirk. She smiled and rolled her eyes then went to take a shower.

The morning was very productive. Everyone found very important information to find out who killed Ric and why. The important question is who did kill Ric?
