i love you & goodbye || sukhoon ?

the day before their third monthsary

surprisingly this day hyunsuk woke up first before jihoon does so he quickly stood up from his bed and did his morning routine.

after all those things he immediately went outside to get some fresh air, sometimes it's good to get some sun and refreshing air rather than staying in his cramped room. he walked outside and saw some of their neighbors so he quickly greeted them and started to do their businesses. while walking outside he admired the whole area, he doesn't have the time to admire his surroundings but today he has some time, so he explored the area thru his eyes but stopped when something caught his attention, it was an old couple sitting in the bench with their dog beside them, talking happily.

he noticed the way the two older talked to each other with so much joy and the way their eyes sparkle when they look at each other he knew that the two old couple seems to be in love even through out the years.

he didn't know that he was staring for too long when the old couple suddenly called him.

"hi, do you need something?" the other asked him.

"nothing, im sorry i was just mesmerized by your affection to each other. i kinda drift off in my mind" hyunsuk tried to excuse himself when the other replied.

"it's okay, some people do that too. we are used to it" the other man who is probably in his mid 40s said while chuckling at his last sentence.

instead of going out of the picture, hyunsuk was just standing in front of them. he suddenly felt curious why this couple is really used to some people looking at them mesmerized.

"can i ask?" hyunsuk asked and two older couple just nodded in response.

"why are you used to it? like when people start staring at you" he ask in pure questions in his mind.

"we actually didn't know at first but everyone started to say the same thing as yours, so i just thought that we show our affection more on outside than inside but someone suddenly asked us like what was our secret in our relationship, but honestly we aren't like this before, it's more likely be a tom and jerry thing" the man laughed it off.

"it's just like push and pull, he hated me first but in the end he loved me, all the effort and things i did is all worth it" the man paused and looked to the other with full of happiness in his eyes.

then the other suddenly spoke.

"he was very persistent person that i actually fell for him and that day i suddenly believed that the more you hate that person and want to cut him off in your life in the end you'll actually miss that person's presence. you will just realized that in the end, because you will feel that there's something missing in your heart"

"and that something is the one you used to hate, because you're used to get all his affection and efforts he gave you but once he is gone, you'll miss those affection and warmth that he has given to you"

"that's why when he started to space out from me, i was the one who made some effort but that didn't last long because he accepted me very quickly" then he laughed it off trying to remember the things they did when they were younger.

"i was still not have moved on from you that time, so i just gladly took the chance you gave me" the other protested.

while the two older are having some little chit chat, water from hyunsuk eyes dropped he didn't know he was getting emotional in the older story and started tearing up.

but then suddenly hyunsuk felt an arm in his shoulder.

"suk, you're here" he heard that familiar voice he always hear everyday.
