YOUR POV
"So what exactly are we doing here?" Bucky questioned. "Are you an idiot or still stuck in the 50's?" I scoffed while still looking around in the jewelry store. "She's looking for an engagement ring Buck." Steve replied ignoring my snarky comment. "Obviously I know that. But we've been looking for an hour already." He complained. I have no idea why I took him with me but I thought he would've had a sense of taste. "It's because they don't have the perfect ring here." I deadpanned while looking up at them for the first time since we got here. "We can always try another store." Steve suggested giving me a small smile. I nodded to him and we walked out back to my car. We put Bucky in the back and he wasn't too happy about that. "Can you move your seat up?" He asked me. "No." I responded turning up the radio. Steve just chuckled and shook his head before he moved his seat up when he was the biggest one in here. "Steve isn't an ass." Bucky mumbled. "I heard that you shitbrick." Throwing him a quick glare. "Stop it you two." Steve ordered. Bucky and I shared a quick glance of confusion. "StOp iT yoU tWo." I mocked the 100 year old. Bucky started laughing uncontrollably and I joined him and Steves face just made it even funnier. "For some one who's so old you're such a child." He interrupted our laughing. "Thank for that observation. I might have to give the news an anonymous tip saying your new name is Captain Obvious." I joked while pulling over to park. Stevie wasn't having it so as soon as I parked he immediately got out of the car. "What's up his ass?" Bucky joked. "You." I snorted getting out. It slipped my mind at how sensitive that topic really was and now they were both not talking to me. I'm never taking these bitches anywhere with me again. We all walked in silence into the jewelry store and of course the guys were immediately recognized. I decided to take that opportunity to look by myself. "Can I get a picture!?" One girl asked. I couldn't help but laugh at how all the workers were drooling all over them. I continued to mind my business looking until I felt a pair of eyes on me. "Is there something on my face miss?" Looking up to my left to see a young lady who was behind the counter. "N-no. I'm sorry." She mustered out nervously. "I'm just joking. Relax...?" "Natalie." She responded. I just smiled at how it was pretty close to Tashas name. "You have a beautiful name Natalie." I complimented turning back to the rings in front of me. "What exactly are you looking for?" She asked moving to the section I was in, now standing right in front of me. "To be honest Natalie I'm not sure. My girlfriend told me to surprise her but I'm indecisive." I admitted. "Well we have traditional or more modern ones over there." She pointed about 5 feet away from me. I nodded and pushed myself of the counter to make my way to the other side. I scanned over every single ring and nothing spoke to me. I had to find the special ring because after all I found my special person. It was only fair that I gave her the ring she deserves. "Do you have any emeralds?" I asked nervously. "We do actually. Follow me." She gestured. I was hesitant at first but I reluctantly followed her towards the back of the store where a whole section of emerald rings were on display. "Woah." I mumbled to myself. "Is this something more in your interest?" She asked sheepishly. "Yes thank you." I breathed out still drawn to the rings in front of me. "Y/n?" Bucky shouted. "I'm back here!" I answered back not even bothering to look up. Each ring had its own unique design. There were small ones with smaller diamonds around them. Then there were bigger emeralds with medium size diamonds all around it. I couldn't really decide, hence why I asked Natalia what she wanted in the first place but she gave me the most broad answer anyone could ever ask for. "You want to give her an emerald?" Steve asked curiously. "I still haven't really decided but it seems this way." I answered. "I think you should." Bucky chimed in. This was probably the helpful thing he's said all damn day. "I think so too." I concluded while moving my eyes on to the next ring. "Green is my favorite color but it's also the color of her eyes. And I want it to match as close as possible." I explained. "I don't know how close you're going to get with that." Steve said honestly. "I don't care if it takes all damn day. I'm finding this ring." I said firmly. I didn't even need to look at them to know they both just shared a look before joining me on either side of me to look as well. I was about to shift to another counter when this one ring caught my eye. It's the one. That is the ring I'm going to propose to Natalia with. My whole body froze as if I took my eyes off of it, the whole ring would disappear. "You found it." Steve commented probably realizing that I haven't moved. "I did." I whispered back, if he wasn't a super soldier he probably wouldn't have heard me. "Hey Natalie?" I called out to the girl who was still lurking. "I want that one." I pointed to the one right in front of me. "This one?" She checked to make sure it was the same one I was pointing at. "Yes." Conforming that she was right. "It's beautiful." Bucky commented. "Just like her." I replied automatically while still watching the ring.
The ring:
