Y/N - Your Name
Your P.O.V.
Our car skidded to a stop, just as Vanya's car stopped too. Five and I both clambered out of the car, meeting Vanya halfway. "What are you doing here," asked Vanya, looking at the both of us in confusion. "Looking for you. We're going back to 2019," said Five, pulling out his watch from his pocket. "What do you mean," asked Vanya. "Look, I don't really have time to explain right now, but I found a way home. All right? We have 30 minutes left," said Five hurriedly, grabbing my hand and pulling me with him back to the car.
"What about my friends? I can't just leave them here," said Vanya, making me roll my eyes. "Mom, we don't have time for this. Now, before we mess up the timeline even more, let's go," I said, running my hand through my hair (if possible) in frustration. "Okay, then I'm bringing them with me," said Vanya. "That will mess up the timeline, mom! No one is insignificant! We can't take that risk, I'm sorry," I said, wanting to get her to come with us immediately. "Come on," said Five. "Why do you both get to decide? Five is the reason we are stuck here in the first place" asked Vanya. "How dare you? He has sacrificed everything to come back to us to save you from the apocalypse, that you caused! We'd all be dead if it weren't for him," I yelled angrily. "They're coming with me," said Vanya. "Vanya, don't test me right now," said Five, striding forward angrily. Vanya smiled and said, "Funny. 'Cause I was about to say the same thing." Vanya started glowing white, a low-pitched tone resonating around her. Five's hands started glowing blue, whooshing rhythmically. I floated up using the sound of the idling engine, levitating a foot above the ground. I floated forwards, my hair flying everywhere (if possible) and my hands glowing white. Vanya glowed more, noticing the new threat, me. After a few tense moments of silence, Vanya and Five both stopped their powers. I remained on guard, taking a protective stance next to Five. I then let myself down, landing on my feet softly. "Fine," said Vanya. "Fine, what," asked Five. "I'll be there, but I need to say goodbye first," said Vanya, making me sigh angrily. "We don't have time," I growled. "It's either that or I'm not coming at all," said Vanya, sticking her chin out stubbornly. Five scoffed and turned around, and followed him, stomping my feet angrily. "The alley. Don't be late," said Five before sighing and climbing back into the car.
The ride back to the alley was tense as I muttered curse words angrily under my breath in all the languages I could think of(A/N: When I learn a language, I tend to learn the curse words first... what about y'all?). "Oh Five, you were telling me something," I said when I was less frustrated. "Oh it's nothing," he shrugged. "Didn't sound like nothing, but okay," I said. I started tapping my foot anxiously, hoping that everyone would reach the alley on time. Five placed his hand in my knee, making me look up at him. He glanced at me and smiled reassuringly before looking back at the road, drawing shapes on my knee comfortingly. We soon came to a screeching halt at the alley. Five ran out of the car and took the suitcase from the trunk of the car. I quickly clambered out to see Luther arriving. I sighed a little from relief, some of the tension dissipating. "Where is everyone," asked Luther as Five looked around anxiously. "You're the first," said Five with a cheeky smile, making me laugh despite the high stakes. Suddenly, I saw Klaus running down the alley towards us. I sighed happily, feeling less tense when I saw the man. I started in confusion as Klaus fought with... himself? Suddenly, he puked all over the ground, making me scrunch my nose in disgust. "I can't believe it! I mean, you're here," said Luther, pointing at Klaus with disbelief. "We have 8 minutes left," said Five, making me start pacing again anxiously. "Where are the others," I yelled anxiously, repeatedly brushing my hand through my hair (if possible). "We have a minute left," growled Luther, lamming his fist on one of the trash cans. "WHY IS TIME NOT THIS FAST IN SCHOOL," I yelled, stomping my foot angrily before pacing again. "What's going on, guys? Are we going somewhere," asked Klaus, but I ignored him, knowing I would erupt if I tried to speak. "It was a simple task! A simple task! All we had to do was be here! Didn't have to fight a giant sea monster, no. An army of mutants? Nein," said Five angrily. I continued pacing, doing my best to remain clm and somewhat succeeding. "It was handed to us on a silver platter," growled Five angrily. "Ugh, could you quiet down? My head is killing me," said Klaus, sitting up and squinting his eyes. "Listen to me, you useless puke bag, we just blew our chance to save the world," said Five angrily. "Five, don't insult him," I said, glaring at him. He glared back before sighing and murmuring apologies. "Five, I know you're angry, I am too, but we'll figure it out. Trust me, if anyone can do it, you can," I said, sighing softly and taking both his hand in mine. Five enveloped me in a hug, just as the suitcase whirred and disappeared. "It'll be okay, we'll figure it out. Together," I said as Five broke the hug. "We were that close," said Five, sighing. I just rubbed his shoulder, trying to comfort him.
"Let's go, we need to figure something out," I said. "I have half a mind to just let everyone figure it out themselves. Every person for themselves," said Five, sighing angrily. I chuckled before opening the door to Elliott's building, Five following. "Hey Five, doomsday is still coming. We gotta think of a plan," I heard Luther say from behind us. "Don't you get it, Luther? It's over, alright? We're done for," said Five. "Y/N, can you please convince him," asked Luther. "What make you think he'll listen to me," I asked, laughing a little. "Because Five has a cru-," said Luther, before being interrupted by Five yelling, "Shut up Luther! I'll think of something!" Five then dragged me to his room and slammed the door closed, locking it. Luther started banging on the door, but eventually gave up. "So what should we do," I asked, plopping down onto the bed and laying down, covering my eyes with the crook of my elbow.
"I have a plan," he replied, his green eyes twinkling with inspiration.
