Theres been an announcement on every social Mihoyo has, releasing Genshin impact on VR (virtual reality folks).

So of course the week it came out you bought it straight away, you were excited to feel like you were actually in your favourite game.

You waited for it to update which took about an hour or so, you held on to both the individual remotes and putting the head piece on.

Everything was beautiful, it felt so real.. you listened to paimon talking to you while she told you how to move the joy stick and etc.

You logged in to your current account after awhile.

It was perfect until it felt like the game was getting a bit too glitchy, the floors collapsed piece by piece, you tried to run from it until your character fell inside.

You tried to take off your head part but it wasnt busting, only to feel your hair.. and the rocks hit across your skin while you fell in to a deep dark pit your body felt like the pressure was too much, but you were in your room.. how is this happening!?.

You screamed scared on what was happening.

Was it real? Or was it another update?..

'Wake up traveler! Paimons worried!' Paimon was pushing your weak body from left to right.

'Ugrhh..' your vision was blurry seeing paimon infront of you made you feel like you were dreaming.

'Paimon.. paimon.. hmm.. sounds familiar, I should really participate in school more.. and my body is like a tractor just drove through it why is it so numb.' You thought to yourself.

'Well Paimon knows thats because the ground collapsed making you fall in a black hole and into a boat in Liyue I think!'

'Boat..? Liyue..?' You tried to push yourself up to reveal a non moving boat, the streets of Liyue and paimon infront of you.
You were shocked and happy at the same time, but you didnt know what to think of it.

'Are you real?' You questioned

'What do you mean? Of course! Paimon is not a ghost silly!!' Paimon blurted.

'Right.. im gonna go back to sleep' your body hit the ground expecting to wake up in your messy room wrapped in your blanket.

'And open!' You opened your eyes to find paimon annoyed and her eyes twitching.

'Enough!!' Paimon shouted.

'WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?' you  reached your arm and pinching it with all your might, it was painful but you wanted to take this further.
You reached for the weapon located on your back, and cutting your hand off.

'GAAAHHH' you shrieked your arm regrowing and health going down.

'Are you crazy, eat some food!' Paimon watched in horror covering her eyes.

'...' you whimpered silently taking one of the dishes on your inventory.

'So this is real?.. your real?' You asked paimon while chewing your food.

'Correct.' Paimon floated.

A few minutes later, a crow floated down with a rolled paper and a red ribbon attached to it dropped the object on your hands, with Y/N written at the front embroided with gold.

Your eyes widened in excitement, you open it to find a letter from Inazuma,

Inazuma is in a terrible state we are gathering recruits to help us fight, and we want you alongside with us.

You never went to Inazuma in game, you've heard teasers of it but you havent really seen it.

'How are we gonna get there.' You asked paimon.

' Paimon says that this boat Is about to board to Inazuma so without further a do we wait!' Paimon cheered

'..ok ' you drifted to sleep leaning your head on a damp box while the boat sailed ashore.

'Wake up traveler!' Paimon pulled your hair.

'Five minutes..' you groaned.

'No now!!' Paimon shouted.

'Fine.. demanding emergency food.' You murmured stepping out of the boat to reveal a place with cherry blossom trees scattered in different directions and parked boats. You were amazed, but you needed to know how to get to the general.

You walked the streets of Inazuma to find a girl on one of the market stalls looking at some of the traditional masks.
Walking to her to find directions, you tapped her on the shoulder while she looked towards you.

'What service do I owe you fellow traveler?' She smiled.

'Oh um sorry to disturb you but do you know the directions to the General?.'

'Of course follow me.'
