third person pov

"light-" levi huffed as he got pulled by the hand by the shorter male. "slow down!"

light continued to run while holding the ravanette's hand. "we're almost there!" he tapped his shoes along the concrete path as his eyes lit up from the sight of the skating park.

"we're here, we're here!" he did his iconic noise at the end of the sentence.

"i- oh my god," levi crouched down as he tried to catch his breath. "let me catch my breath first-"

light nodded and squirmed in his place, excited. "come on levi! hurry up!"

the ravanette stood up straight and smiled. "alright, im fine now."

light grinned as he rushed over to the bench, placing his bag down next to him. he quickly rummaged through the bag as he pulled out two roller skates. one black one with white laces, and one white one with purple laces.

"levi! come on and put your roller skates on!" light motioned his hand for the ravanette to come over.

 levi let out a happy sigh and walked on over to light, sitting down next to him on the available space. he took the black roller-skates off of his hands and quickly took off his platformers to put them on. he clicked the buckles together and tied the laces before turning to the shorter male.

"this is hard..." light furrowed his eyebrows and scrunched up his nose as he tried doing the same, struggling to buckle his roller skates. levi let out a chuckle. "here, let me help," he stood up and crouched down to light's roller skates as he buckled them for him. "it's that simple, light!" levi smiled as light looked down to his skates, doing a random thing with his lips to concentrate. "thank you levi!"

light smiled as he tied his laces -- well, at least, tried to.

"i can't tie my laces!" light yelped as he made his iconic noises once again. "light, you silly goose." levi giggled as he tied his laces for him.

"oh shut up! you're the silly goose!" light replied back, laughing after.

levi laughed along as he got up from crouching, pulling light off of the bench. he quickly grabbed both of their other shoes and placed it in the bag carefully, proceeding to carry it. 

"come on, let's goO-" levi yelped as he stumbled from the roller skates, quickly balancing himself to not fall.

"oh my god! levi, you don't know how to skate?!" light skated around levi tauntingly as he smiled. 

"of course i don't, light," levi scoffed as he stuck his arms out to balance himself. "you just told me you wanted to go on a roller skating date! i said i didn't know how to skate and you -- you still made me do it!"

light paused for a moment and quickly gasped. "oh yeahhh!" light giggled as he skated a bit away from levi. "come on! the lockers are over there!" he cooed.

levi took a quick huff as he walked with the skates, slightly slipping from the wheels.

"why- is this so hard-" levi groaned as he trotted over to light.

"i don't know," light giggled as he held levi's hand. "i will help you skate!" he made his iconic noises again.

levi blushed slightly as he let light guide him, standing completely still and letting his wheels move himself for him. he watched how light sway his feet on the pavement, clanging his skates across the path with a pattern. 

they made their way to the ramps in no time. levi shivered from the sight of the huge crowd of people. light noticed this and decided to make a proposal.

"if you want, we could just skate somewhere else!" light gave an assuring smile as levi nodded.

"i'd prefer that. thank you, light." levi petted light's head as they skated over to an empty space.

"okay, i will teach you now!" light put his hands on his hips. levi had a ready stance.

"okay, so- um," light looked down at the ground to think before demonstrating. "you have to learn how to balance first!"

levi chuckled. "i'm already balancing?"

light shook his head. "no, i meant-" he skated behind levi and slightly pushed him forward, making the taller slightly tremble.

"you have to learn how to balance when you're skating!" light showed himself skating across the space, not struggling to balance at all.

levi widened his eyes and stared down at his roller skates and moved slowly. he used his arms for balance as light gazed at him, smiling.

"you're doing it, levi!" light clapped happily.

levi smiled as he looked back up at light. "i did it!"

light held both of levi's hands again and grinned. "that's all you need to know for now. i will teach you how to move properly some other time! for now we can just dance!"

levi furrowed his eyebrows. "dance?"

"yes! dance!" the shorter smiled as he twirled both of them around slowly.

and so, they danced around the space they had, laughing together. levi was a bit nervous at first but he quickly got the hang of it and completely forgot they had skates on.

they were just enjoying their time as they danced on their heels together.
