Of course.

For all the years (...years?) that you'd resided in Westview, it had never rained. Never once.

But of course, the one day your car breaks down, you're caught in a downpour. You didn't want to call Wanda. She was worried enough, planning some event, and you could walk home from your job at the newspaper well enough.

So, you stumbled home, trying to ignore glares from the neighbours.

You knew what they thought of you working - well, what they thought of you and Wanda, in general.

"Going somewhere?"

You glanced up to see your wife driving, slowly, beside you.

"Hey, 'Anda," you sniffled, giving her a half-hearted wave.

She arches an eyebrow.

"Get in."

"I'm okay. The walk's good for me."

"You'll catch your death, Y/N, and then what will I do? I would make a terrible widow."

Rolling your eyes, you climb into the car, and she immediately begins to inspect you.

"Wanda," you said, trying to keep her from fussing, "Really, I'm fine, love-"

Almost on cue, you sneezed. She frowned.

"Really?" asked Wanda, restarting the car. "You certainly sound fine, dear."

You sigh.

"Okay," you admit. "Maybe I've caught... a little... cold."

You sneeze again.

"Just a little one?" Wanda teases.

...

"Wanda," you said. "This is really too much."

Wanda had insisted on putting you in a warm bath, then clothing you in a set of soft cotton pajamas and putting a warm cup of tea in your hands. Now, she was snuggled next to you, a stack of magazines almost your height levitating above you.

"No, it's just enough," said Wanda, selecting a magazine from the top. "See? Glamorous magazine. A magazine for Glamorous people - and if I knew anyone who was glamorous, it'd be you, dear."

"Wanda..."

"Look at this! These dresses are exquisite, aren't they-"

"Wanda, you don't have to do this, really. You've got enough on your hands... you don't need to worry for me."

Wanda closed the magazine, looking at you, and for the first time in a long, long time, you felt as if she saw you. Really saw you.

"Do you know why I worry, Y/N?" she asked, after a quiet moment. "It's because... because you're all I have. I can't lose you. I won't lose you."

You rested your head on her shoulder, and Wanda smiled, softly.

"Don't worry," you said. "You won't lose me."
