The Devil's Luck

3rd person POV:

A month after Joseph has been defeated, summer break started for the students of Demi Island.

And for those Demi's that were too old for school, they were given breaks from their jobs.

Though in reality, this "break" was simply a ploy from the island so they could modify areas to withstand the powers of new demi's.

Linda took this opportunity to focus more on the hobby Yn helped her pick up. Watching movies.

Cindy, the fashionista she was, mostly went shopping or made her own clothes, in between training her power.

All in the meantime Mia and Yn reaped the "benefits" of their friendship.

Mia: Heh heh~

Yn:(chuckles)

Mia: Ah~!

The two separated after their "playtime" reached its climax.

Yn/Mia:(panting)

(Ring-ring)

Yn:(rolls eyes)

Grabbing his phone, he found Randy answering.

Randy:(on phone) Dude I have a problem!

Yn: Hold on...

Getting up, he leaves the bedroom so Mia wouldn't overhear.

Yn: What's the problem?

Randy:(on phone) Well there's actually two-

Yn: Just tell me.

Randy:(on phone) First thing... The others are starting to get a little pissed that there are still more jobs we have to do.

Yn: And?

Randy:(on phone) How do I stop a mutiny?

Yn: For Devil's sake... You literally and metaphorically hold all the cards.

Yn: You're untouchable. If they don't believe that, then make a power move.

Yn: Can you handle that much?

Randy:(on phone) I'll..... Try. Second thing is, there is a Demi that should get on the island today.

Randy:(on phone) A not-so-legal one.

Yn: Thank you for being useful. Bye.

He ends the call just as Mia exits her bedroom wearing Yn's shirt.

Yn: Now if you wear my stuff like that, it kinda makes it seem like your my girlfriend.

Mia:(chuckles) I just took a random piece of clothing. Don't get too excited.

She makes herself some coffee.

Mia: Anyway, do you want to continue our adultery? If so, let me just order something to eat before we starve.

Yn: I'm not some sex-crazed teen that constantly needs satisfying.

Yn: Our night together was enough to satisfy me for the time being.

Yn: Besides, I have things to do.

Mia: Hm, alright then.

She takes off his shirt and walks over to him, completely naked, so she could hand it over to him.

Yn:... You're not satisfied, are you?

Mia: I... Am under a lot of stress. It's going to take MUCH more than one night a month to help me relieve all that.
