Alice's POV

Today's the day.

Getting out of bed I walked into my bathroom and got showered and backed the other two identical uniforms into the black shield gym bag and made my way to the front doors where a car was already waiting on me.

Jumping in the long drive to west view began.

Once finally there, the red static bubble was, obviously, the first thing to catch my eye.

Being dropped by a tent I was told there was a meeting in place just down the hall so I walked over and came to a stop when I heard what some man was saying.

'She's a terrorist!'

'Wanda is not a terrorist!' A woman said

'By your own account, you described the experience of being under her mind-control as excruciating, terrifying, a violation' the same man said

'My point is, I don't believe she has a political agenda or any inclination toward destruction.'

'Point or no point. This immigrant never should have been taken in with the avengers. Her powers were given to her to destroy them, they only got her before she could! Her and her dead brother. Wanda and the avengers were all a danger to us! People of such abilities never should be together like that!' He said

Darcys POV

The whole room went quiet. He was a tad harsh.

'Well in my opinion' Alice stark said walking in, causing Hayward to wrinkle his forehead even more.

'Alice stark?' He said

'Please' she held a hand up 'miss stark is fine' she smiled.

'Miss stark why are you here? If you don't mind me asking ma'am'

'If you can't tell by the painfully obvious uniform I'm here under shield reinforcement. Clearly your shitty organisation is doing a horrible job, I mean  obviously if your running it, what's this your on your third triple bypass? Jezz' she said

I looked at woo and smiled, both of us trying to hold in a laugh.

'Miss stark if you would please-'

'No. No no. Sh now.' She stood up beside him and faced everyone 'hi, I'm alice. I don't know what this man has told you about Wanda but take it from someone who knows her. She is not a terrorist and the avengers are not dangerous, to those of which don't cause us to be' she then glared at Hayward.

The room was silent

'I'm here to bring westview back to normal and bring Wanda back. I will not be taking any disrespect from anyone as less then a year ago I saved all your asses. If anyone has a problem with me being here I suggest you leave as I am going no where. As for this meeting, it's dismissed. You can all go except' she looked down at her phone 'darcy Lewis. Officer woo and Monica-'

'Alice-'

'Miss stark' she corrected Hayward

He groaned 'Miss stark. I have the authority here. Not you. So if you'd mind'

She held up a badge and her phone which caused him to roll his eyes and walk out.

'Go have lunch or something, take an hour or so off. Working for him must be exhausting' she said and everyone left, leaving me woo and Monica.

She walked up to us with a smile 'hi, I was told you had video evidence and you've been in there and that I should trust you' she said looking at me then Monica then woo.
