I Can't Get Over Him

You just finished filming a series. You head to your car and it started raining. How can this day get any worse. At least you finished filming. A little later you arrived to your apartment. You unlocked the door and put your wet coat away. 

After you showered, you went to a kitchen and grabbed a glass of wine to cheer yourself up. You sat on the couch and watched your favorite show. Suddenly your phone rang. It was almost 12:00 am. It was an unknown number. 

"Uh Hello? Who is this? Why are you calling at 12:00 in the morning?" you say.

You heard music in the background. You thought it was one of those kid's doing a prank call. So you hung up.

3 hours later you fell asleep on the couch. Your phone kept getting notification's as if someone is spamming you. "What the hell.." you say picking up the phone. It was a message from Tom. Why would your ex boyfriend text you at 3 am in the morning? He also called you 5 times. You called back.

"Y/n." Tom says in a weird tone.

"Tom why have you been calling me at 3:30 in the morning." you ask.

"I need you to pick me up from the bar that's a few blocks from your apartment." he says.

You sighed. "Mk, I'll be there in a few." you say. 

You put on a leather sweater, a t-shirt and some pants. You put on your shoes and left. You head into your car and left. A few moments later you head to the bar. You went inside and tried to look for Tom. He saw you first. "Y/n! Over here!" He shouts. You head towards him. "Lets go Tom." you say pulling his arm. "Here have a drink." He says. "Ugh, no Tom." You say. 

Later, you guys finally got out of the bar and head to your car. "I'm taking you home." you say. "Actually. How about your apartment?" he asks. "Whatever." you say. You guys head in to your apartment and you showed him the guest bedroom. "Thanks." He says. You head to your room and take off your jacket and fell asleep. 

The next day, you woke up to your loud alarm. You can smell food from the kitchen. You put on some slippers and saw Tom cooking Breakfast. "Uh Tom that's very nice but I think your girlfriend is looking for you. You better head home." you say. "No, It's fine I'll head home later, I just wanted to make some food for you." he says laughing. "That's nice of you." you say. 

After you had breakfast you changed into fresh clothes. "C'mon tom I'm gonna take you home now." you say. "Actually I'll just walk." he says. "You sure?" you ask. "Yes I'm sure." He says. "Oh ok." you say. As he left, you questioned yourself; Why doesn't he want me to bring him home?
