I hold the phone to my ear. "Voight" he answers "hey Hank" he sighs "why are you calling it's midnight shouldn't you be sleeping" "yeah um I can't get ahold of dad and your the only one I know" there was a pause "yeah your dads working a case" I groan figures "so um I need you to come pick me up" "from where" "police station 32 district" "why are you there" "I may have been arrested can you just come get me" he sighs "keep your head down I will be there soon" "thank you" I hung up and was lead back to my cell. "What you in for" some girl asks me "drinking and fighting you" I shrug "drinking although I think they just keeping me here cause my boyfriend" I tilt my head confused but she doesn't clarify.

It felt like hours before Hank picked me up. I was led out and smile the moment I saw him. "Thank you" I hug him "your lucky they almost didn't release you to me" "where is dad anyways" "undercover" I nod "he should be back soon though" he led me to the his car, I get in the passenger seat.

He led my through the district and up to intelligence "you can sit in my office" I nod walking towards it pausing at the board with pictures of the current case. I could tell Hank is watching me carefully. "Who's that" I point to the picture of the woman "why" "I met her said her boyfriend did something" he nods leading me to the office "rest up kid your dad will be here soon" I nod laying down on his couch.

I don't know how long I slept, but I woke to voices. "Jay" Hank said "Bailey is in my office" "what she do" I could hear the anger in my dads voice "drinking and fighting but there's something else" "what" there was a pause "she has spoken to one of our suspects said she said the boyfriend did something" I hear dad sigh before I hear footsteps. I instantly close my eyes pretending to sleep. There was a pause before he grabs my arm pulling me up and leading me out of the office into the bullpen "I known you for sixteen years you think I don't know when your faking" I sigh and give in allowing him to drag me. He stops in front of the board pulling the picture off. I could see everyone watching us. "Where did you see here" I don't answer looking at everyone else in the room "nows not the time to not talk Bailey" I sigh "Jay" some girl said probably trying to get him to stop but there was no stopping him, he was pissed. "Ok so um I got arrested Hank probably told you" I begin "she was there we spoke a bit" I shrug "well she's a suspect to the case" "told me it was the boyfriend and I'm very loveable why would she lie" he just gives me a deadpanned look. He sighs running his hand through his hair "dad" he looks down at me however before I can continue someone interrupts "Dad?" A guy said in shock "Bailey Halstead at your service" I dramatically bow "go back in the office" my dad said making me gasp "what your friends find out and you want to to disappear that's just disappointing father" he rolls his eyes "oh yeah she's his kid" a girl said "who are you" "oh I'm Kim" "it's nice to meet you Kim" "go into the office" my dad demands pointing to the office "fine just don't ask me when you need help Travis is a great guy by the way" I roll my eyes going into the office. Not long later Hank comes in "you know Travis" "met a couple of times" he nods "where" "told my father I wasn't going to help sorry" I pull my phone out before I can do anything it's ripped from my hands. I just stare in shock as Hank gives it to my dad who just looks at me
