"Girl, you need a shot of B12! You know, you, do.." They sang. It was mostly Steve but Snot snuck in his voice. (Omg so cringe).
Once they were done they fell back on the bed and laughed to each other.
"Man, that was fun." Snot said, sighing.
"Yeah. Feels weird though I haven't sung in a while." Steve replied.
"Eh, who cares. You sound great.."
Steve awed, while both of them turned to face each other. "Thanks Snot..You got a good voice for it too."
"Not as good as you."
"Nah you're better."
"No, you're better."
"Ok I'm not gonna argue with you about this."
"Good idea." Snot chuckled, moving a bit closer.
What a strange position. Snot and Steve were laying in the bed on their bellies, faces about four inches away from each other. Both minds wondering what to say or do next. Snot's eyes slowly moved towards Steve's lips. Small, thin, feminine, and very kissable. Steve kept his attention on Snot's eyes. Even brown and the perfect size for his face. Both boys were in the position for a kiss, but when Snot found himself licking his lips, staring at Steve's, he stopped himself.
"So um..What do you wanna do..?" Snot randomly spit out. Steve couldn't help but feel some bit of disappointment that Snot had said something. Ruining the moment. Steve had always loved to stare at Snot, just admire all of his features. Especially his lips and hair. He always found himself wondering how it would feel with his lips on Snot's. Like for real, not just some make believe practice shit. Then immediately shook the thought away. Steve also always thought Snot's hair was perfect. How it goes around the back of his head just right. Sometimes when Snot flips his hair all Steve wants to do is knot his hands in the curls, and massage it till Snot says to stop.
Fuck, when did he really start thinking about this?
But that was stuff for couples.
Which was something they were not.
Once again Steve was so lost in Snot's features he didn't even realize Snot was trying to get his attention.
"Steve??? Hello??"
"Huh?"
"Jeez again?? What do you keep thinking about??" Steve was definitely the daydreaming type.
"Nothing, never mind."
"Well as I was saying I should probably get going."
"What?? Why??" Steve hated it when Snot would leave. What else did he have to do besides hang out with his best friend? Plus, Snot was the best guy to hang out with. He's funny, and always seemed to get attention from other girls. Maybe because he was tall, at least six foot, cute, handsome, somewhat deep voice, curly hair, and had a perfect body. Not muscular but it suited him. Meanwhile there was Steve. Short, 5'8 at most, glasses, nerdy looking, super skinny, high pitched voice, more cute than handsome, and everybody seemed to think he was gay or something. He was cute, but girls wanted Snot a lot more than Steve. Steve was more of an outcast when you looked at him and Snot, but they hang out almost everyday anyway. Who cares what others think? Snot loved Steve so why does anybody else's opinion matter?
"I dunno. My dad's birthday would've been in a week so I just kinda wanna be there for my mom. If you know what I mean." Snot replied, shrugging and getting off the bed. Steve followed.
"Oh yeah of course. I understand."
"But first can I take a quick shower? The water stopped—" He stopped in his words, remembering not to tell Steve about the water problem. "Uhh I just wanna do it before I go home. Your water runs so much better than mine."
