More of a note: lol, guess what. It was my first imagine. Lol sorry for the trauma Max :)

You and your boyfriend Max are in a long distance relationship due to covid. You moved back to America after covid hit England to ensure you were with your family but this meant leaving Max, which was sad. Many people told you that you should break up as it would never work. "No one can ever survive a long distance relationship" your roommate chimes in as you're packing your stuff to fly back. But hear you are, over a year apart and you're still together and are stronger than ever. It sounds cliche but it's true. You FaceTime every day and despite the time different you manage to watch his streams majority of the time. If you can't watch them live you always watch them later.

Tonight was supposed to be your 2 year anniversary and instead of spending it with him in person you are on a FaceTime call. He is sitting in the stream room as he just finished a stream before he called you. "What did you get up to today", Max asks you. "I met up with f/n (friends name) for lunch and we went for a walk around the city, how about you?" You ask back. "I played golf with the boys and then I came home slept and then ordered pizza; just your usual day for me now I guess. Although I thought about what we would be doing of you were here. What we would have done to celebrate". You smile "you still haven't opened my present mr", you tease him. "Oh right let me go get it", he disappears downstairs and grabs your present for him. He comes back holding a box. "Go on, open it" you chant. He opens the box which is filled with straw and presents along with a card. "What do I open first", he looks into the box. "Presents first, card last". He follows your methods and opens the presents first. You got him little things; a shirt, a bracelet, some photos of the two of you. The main present was in the card which he opened last just as you planned. He opens the card but doesn't read the message out loud. Thank you my love", he smiles towards his phone. "You're welcome" you smile back. "There's just one more thing" you say seeing his face change. "What is it?" He asks impatiently. "Look into the envelope", he does. "There is nothing in here", he continues to look "oh wait. What did you write, check your email. What did you do?" This is your cue to hit send and wait for his reaction.

He opens his email on his computer and sees a new email from you. He opens it and smiles instantly. "You're flying to London tonight". You nod. "Suprise. I guess I'll see you tomorrow" you laugh. "How did you keep this a secret. You're shit at keeping secrets" his face still looks shocked. "I'll have to quarantine when I get there but it's worth it" you say. "Oh it's so worth it. I've missed you and I finally get to see you tomorrow" he smiles. You smile back and just stare into the camera looking at how happy he is. "This is the best present ever"
