Riko and I stand in the middle of the huddle and talk about our game plan.
"Alright boys! Today's the first game in the Interhigh preliminaries." Riko states.
"Today we play Shinkyo Academy." I say as I look at the roster. "Their star player, Papa Mbaye Siki, is 6'7. I think he'll be our biggest threat so if we get around him, we can win this game."

"Papa, like Dad?" Someone asked. "I'm gonna call him Dad."
I think for a second before nodding my head.
"We just have to contain Dad, if we do that we will win."
"Right!" The team says in unison.
"Let's go out there and give it everything we've got!" Riko shouts.
I high five everyone as they exit the locker room.
Junpei and I do a special handshake before he exits.
"Good luck bro, make a three for me!"
Junpei nods, determination written all on his face.
Once I exit the locker room I see the team is already warming up. I look at the opposite end of the court and I don't see Dad.
If their star player doesn't show up then this game will be a little bit easier.

It wasn't easy but we end up winning the game. The final score was 79 to 67.
As the rest of the team heads back to the locker room Dad walks over to Kagami, Kuruko, and I.
As he approaches us we all stare him down.
"I've got to say, I didn't think you'd beat us today...but since you did, you must win the rest of your games for me."
"Huh?" Kagami asked confused.
Kuruko just stands there silently.
