"C'mon, arms up!" Eijiro said way-to excited, tugging at the end of Katsuki's t-shirt. "Don't say you're embarrassed!" He teased.

"I'm not!" Katsuki frowned, a strict arch forming on his eyebrows as he gave Eijiro a death glare. "I'm fine!" He tried to yell, his eye twitching from anger and humiliation.

Eijiro sighed, "Trust me: once you get this soaked shirt off of your back, you'll feel so much better! Also, It might help with your temperature." He thankfully dropped his hands from Katsuki's shirt, visibly biting the inside of his cheek.

The blonde looked down, trying to spare his dignity with an eye roll. When he asked for some alone time with Eijiro, taking off his shirt wasn't in his mind and never will be. The intent was innocent and would probably really benefit Katsuki. But no ones needed to help him take off his shirt other than his parents when he was four! Let alone the person he's crushing on (God, he hates that word.) It'll be awkward.

Eijiro is good with making awkward situations seem natural, but can he really make helping your friend take off their shirt casual? They've seen each other get dressed. 'Countless times. But, it's different when it's just them. And when the other needs help.

There was one time in the locker room when Eijiro got stuck in his own fucking shirt. Since he was a dumbass, he forgot to take off the gears of his hero costume before slipping on his UA shirt. Meaning: His arms were stuck as he flailed around. Of course, everyone laughed at it--including Eijiro--but no one was willing to help him because of the humor in hearing Eijiro attempt to wiggle out and the empty complaints. Katsuki, being the closest and most annoyed, yanked the shirt off by the sleeves, and that was that. Eijiro thanked him through giggles, but the moment didn't last more than a minute. Katsuki made sure to yank the sleeves rather than scoop it up from the bottom, but since the blonde didn't expect to have to take off his shirt , he wore short sleeves!

After the long pause, Eijiro started to get concerned. "Dude, it's okay if you don't want to. I just figured it would help you sleep." He tilted his head, dot eyebrows rising slightly. "We're both guys, so I thought-"

" Just do it, " Katsuki whispered more to himself than Eijiro before realizing it. He kept his eyes dangerously focused on the mattress under him as if his life depended on it. There was no way in hell he was making eye contact at a time like this.

His heart was racing. Face so heated it was worse than the intense fever. It's for health reasons. If Katsuki kept this shirt on for any longer, he might get itches. And being itchy, damp, tired, and sick isn't a good combination for any situation. He swallowed the thick lump in his throat. For a moment, Katsuki contemplated if this would even matter if he didn't like Eijiro. It would probably be off by now.

If Katsuki didn't like Eijiro, they could be doing all the stupid stuff teenagers do with friends without the blonde thinking the world was going to end. Or like he was being exposed of something that's not even a big deal. Katsuki should just tell Eijiro. It isn't a big deal.

No one requires the knowledge of his sexuality, but it's not like Eijiro is homophobic. He's made many questionable jokes with Kaminari that would've made Katsuki laugh if they weren't so dumb. Even if Eijiro was a little weirded out by Katsuki liking the same sex, what could he do about it? He still looks up to him and is really excepting.

It's liking him that would make it weird. That would weird Eijiro out. The redhead might think Katsuki is trying to do something with every interaction. Or overthink little conversations that mean nothing to Katsuki. Sexuality is something you can't change about a person, and that won't affect another. But crushing is a whole other. No matter the gender.
