The day following that incident was relatively normal. I had requested for a change of 'nurse' and so my father had instead opted to take care of me instead of Damien. It was a nice change of pace for us as we had been relatively uninvolved with each other's lives. I told him about my love for music, dance, art, as well as games, and such. He told me that he used to play guitar in his past years and was proud that I was picking it up too. I told him about my art and musical achievements, and he was surprised, though it did explain why I had never shown any interest in my studies. He said that he'd never found a way to properly interact with me when I was younger as my mother had decided to take it upon herself to raise me in her own way. He regretted his ignorance and apologized to me for being absent, of course. I forgave him. He was always busy with that pack work of his, and I knew it meant something to him. We had lots of fun together, teaching him to play video games, hearing him play the guitar, and even sneaking in Renard for a bit. There was one thing he said that made me cry, though.

"From now on, I'll support you, no matter what. It's what I should've done so long ago."

Monday rolled around and I was allowed to head back to school. Only this time, my father offered to drive both Renard and me there. We got up at seven to do our daily routines and left by 7:45 with the rest of the time for the short drive. It was nice not having to wake up at 6:30 anymore. We reached the school, and I noticed I got a lot of stares from other classmates, some were sad and pitiful and others were pure rage. I shrugged it off and head to my class, bidding Renard, goodbye. The rest of the class went on just fine, except for the occasional desk slam by the jocks and snarky remarks from the fangirls. My guess is that, since this is a co-pack school that includes the three neighbouring packs, a word about my rejection got around fast and people reacted to it differently. There was also wind of Damien marking up another wolf but I couldn't care less.

We had gym in the afternoon today with the upperclassmen today so I got up and made my way to the locker room as soon as the bell rang. Gym is a little different with an all-wolves school, as we exercise in both human and wolf forms. Wolf form exercise took place in the woods behind the school. Students who couldn't transform sat out for the entirety of the class when it came to it so Renard and I often just ran around and chased each other during those times in the gym hall accompanied by a few of the younger or 'unfortunate' wolves. Today was a normal class, so I changed into my gym uniform, which was the school-issued t-shirt and shorts. I have an altered version of the uniform with the pants as per my request. I did get a few stares from the girls in the class, with the rejection and all, but I politely told them off with a "It's rude to stare, dont'cha know?" as sweetly as possible. Reaching the hall, I was greeted by Renard, and we began our class with stretches. The teacher had left to pick up some things and left us to our own devices. Renard and I were talking and joking around when a group of girls approached us and it just so happens that Vera was the head.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Little Miss Whore," Vera said, condescendingly and very loudly. "Did you really use your brain when you tried to seduce Alpha Damien? Seriously, even a hooker could do it better."

"Mmhm." I simply ignored her comment and went back to stretching with my good pal. We were getting a lot of stares, and I even noticed that Damien smirking at us.

"You know, it really is pitiful. You see, Damien has decided to mark me instead so now you're just a nobody, hanging onto what little relevance you have."

"Yep," I said in a monotone voice. I continued to ignore her and instead make goofy faces at Renard which he returned. It's too bad she noticed, though.

"HEY!" She yelled into my ear. "ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING? YOU DIRTY SKANK."

"'Scuse me?" I said, feigning ignorance. "I can't hear you. I have an ear disease called 'I don't fucking care'."
