something from my drafts til i can write the requests 🧍♀️---
"Have....to....keep.....going...." I huff, dragging my body across the floor. Blood streaked the ground in messy strokes as I pull myself with my hands forward. My vision faded in and out, focusing and refocusing. I glance down at my battered body.
"That....looks bad." I murmur quietly, heaving myself across the ground again. Blood soaked my clothes. I had several stab wounds in my stomach, aching from all the movement. My leg was broken, badly. With every move, the pain was refreshed, like a buffering browser, never ceasing. Blood dripped from my face, sliding down my cheek, jawline, and chin, only to be deposited on the floor below me. I feel the injections from an hour ago coursing through my body. I had been infused with enough to kill a whale. Scratches and bruises were child's play injuries compared to this.
"I have.....to keep......going.....or.....they'll find......" with that, my body collapses.
'Come on!!! Move! Move!' I try to get up, but my arms filled with weakness, causing me to fall again. Using my fingers, I grasp more ground. I haul myself to a tree, gasping for air.
'I guess......this is where.....I die.....' I chuckle to myself. Blood was soaking into the ground, around me everywhere, as I fall into a much needed rest."Huh? Where am I?" I sit up. My injuries were bandages and wrapped, but not so much not to leave scars. I was wearing a loose piece of cloth, colored a light minty blue. That's when I felt something I had never felt before. A feather flutters down, into my vision. My blood stops cold. I glance back, and sure enough, I had wings.
WINGS.
"What the-?!" I touch them, and they flap a little.
"Ooh...they're sensitive." I bite my lip.
"I see you're awake." A melodic voice rings. I whip around. A beautiful angel woman stood in front of me. A wreath of leaves were rung around her head. Her expression was a sad one.
I sit on my knees.
"Am I in Heaven?" I ask excitedly. She smiles sadly.
"Yes Dear....but....I'm afraid you can't stay for long." She looks downward. My expression drops, and I feel my lip quiver.
"W-why not?" I whisper, afraid I would cry. The woman looks up.
"You're a tainted angel....although it isn't your fault. Look, dear, your wing is turning black." She points behind me. I gently fold my wings, and sure enough, black was creeping through the feathers. One wing was almost done.
"It'll take about 5 more minutes for the rest to turn, and when that happens, you'll fall." The woman shakes her head sadly."W-well, can--can I somehow get back up here?" I ask worriedly. The woman smiles.
"Yes. But you must first turn fully pure angel. You'll be a fallen angel when you get down to earth. But I warn you, only a select few humans can see your wings. Ones with power." She explains. I nod thoughtfully.
"Then, if you do good deeds in your fallen angel life, when you make another human extremely happy and joyous, your wings will turn white, and you can fly back up to Heaven." She sighs.
"It's time. Aim for forests. They hurt less." She gives me a tip. I nod, and the next moment, I was falling. I tried to fly, but my wings were cold, and I needed to warm up first.
"Forests.." I see one, and lean toward it. I shoot towards it, the tree branches scratch and claw at my skin. I crash down, and I slid to a stop.
"Ow...." I mumble. The bandages I had had fallen off. Huge scars lined my torso, a big one on my leg, too. A gold liquid was streaming from my body. From all the cuts I got from the tree.
"Gold-?!" I whisper in surprise, trying to pull myself up. It didn't work. My wings were stuck in between trees. Somehow wedged in there. A voice that quietly echoed through the Forest snaps my attention upward.
"I think the sound was over here, Onii-Chan!" I hear a girl's voice say happily.
"Alright, Alright, Alluka! Lead the way!" Another said, a bit deeper this time.
'Oh no... please please please don't be special humans that can see me.....' I bite my lip. Huddling as close to the trees as possible. My dress didn't help with the camouflage, but my black wings fit in almost perfectly. A cute little girl passed by, her black locks bouncing down her back. Then an older boy passed by. He had white hair, and blue eyes as well. I hold my breath as they pass, but the boy suddenly stops. My breath hitches. He clenches his fists, glancing around.
"Alluka, come here." He called the little girl over to him.
"Oh? Okay, Big brother." She happily skipped closer to him. His eyes narrowed.
"Whoever you are, get out of the tree. Now. Or I'll kill you." He threatened. I open my eyes
wide as he circulated his life force around him, and I shuddered.'Should I go.....?' I thought to myself.
'I could defend myself.....but I won't be able to fly away...' I bite my lip harder.'Here goes nothing!' I sigh, gently unraveling my wings a little.
"Please don't hurt me! I can't really move!" I try to pull myself out of the tree a little. The boy's eyes widen in surprise, but he didn't let his guard down.
"Stay there, Alluka." He instructed the little girl. She nods. The boy makes his way towards me, step my step."I promise I won't hurt you." He reassures me soothingly. I slowly pull out a little more, and he stops where he is.
"Onii-Chan? Is something wrong?" The girl named Alluka asks. He calls back to her.
"No, No, just stay there." He replies, his gaze never wavering on me. The boy keeps stepping towards me, until he was 2 feet away. His eyes sparkled a crystal blue."Are you.....an angel?" He asks uncertain.
