? Promises ? Sae-byeok x reader

After you and sae-byeok decided to partner up for the 4th game you had to line up.
Everybody was brought to this place and had to get a bag with 10 marbles.
We were told to play with our partner and whoever collects all 10 marbles from the their partner wins.
We had 30 minutes to play.
But that meant one of us had to die.

I didn't want Sae-byeok to die but neither did I wanna die.
But I knew one of us would have to die.
I never really had a purpose did I?
I was planning to just hand over my marbles to Sae-byeok and let her win but she refused.
Sae-byeok said she wouldn't take them no matter what.
But why?

"Y/n how about I just give you my marbles as-long as you promise to win."
She said as was pushing her marbles towards me.
"No I'm not promising that I'm sorry Sae-byeok."
"What do you mean y/n please just take them you have kept every promise I have told you to."
"But this time I won't."
"No matter how much you insist I won't I promise accept I'm sorry.."

"The only promise I'll make is me promising you'll make it out alive Sae-byeok I swear on my life."
"Please don't say that y/n I promise you that you will survive too because if you don't I won't."
Is Sae-byeok really saying this...
10 minutes remaining.

"Hey y/n what if we both just don't play."
"They can't kill both of us right."
"Even if they do we will keep our promises right?"

"Your right Sae-byeok..."
"I just wanted to let you know that even if one of us dies.."
"I love you."
"I know we have only know each other for a while."
"But the time I have known you has probably been the best time in my whole life.."

Then they killed you because while you were confessing your love Sae-byeok secretly stole your marbles. Then you got shot🙄
Nah jk you guys made out.

Time ran out you both died😦
Nah but the time seriously ran out.

"Goodbye y/n promise me you will win."
"Not if your not there Sae-byeok..."

May the 2 remaining teams go to the center and play against eachother.
The remaining team will proceed the the next game.

"Hey that's us y/n maybe we will still win."
"Maybe Sae-byeok.."

We had to throw marbles into a hole and which ever team with all the marbles win.
But we have 20 minutes and if nobody made the marble into the hole we all die.
I knew I was going to try my best to win not only for me but for my wife😍Sae-byeok.
Both of the teams had 2 marbles left.
If none of us made it all 4 of us would die.

Not against decided to use both of their marbles at once for a "better chance of winning."
Sure enough they didn't make it..
The last 2 chances were ours.
I went first and didn't make it.
It was Sae-byeok's turn if she didn't make it we would all die.
"Y/n if we loose just remember that it was honor meeting you."
She threw the marble...

We lost 😡 us rn-☠️☠️☠️☠️

Maybe tomorrow.

Sae-byeok managed to make it.
Thanks to her we lived.
I couldn't have been more grateful for Sae-byeok at that moment.
They led us the back to the room.

I sat down with Sae-byeok.

"Thank you Sae-byeok."
"Not only for saving my life but for everything."
"Especially for keeping your promise that we would both survive."

"Any thing for you y/n."

Money started pouring into the piggy bank.
That just made me even more desperate to leave this place.
But I wasn't going to leave this place if I didn't have Sae-byeok with me.

Because this is my story and ALI SURVIVED OK END OF DISCUSSION.

We were told to line up for dinner.
Which we all did.
I sat with Sae-byeok as usual and continued talking to her.
I started wondering what would have happened if I never stood where I stood in red light green light.
I would have probably never met Sae-byeok...
Sae-byeok would have probably never been alive.
But to be fair neither would I be alive it's all thanks to her that I lived.

I never realized how scared I was to loose Sae-byeok.
I felt to attached to her that I swore on my life she'd survive.
I honestly never could have thought Sae-byeok actually cared for me.
Let alone tell me that she loved me.
Maybe it was just her first reaction after all there was no telling if we would survive.

It was going to be lights out soon.
I never realized how much fun I was having with Sae-byeok.
She was basically making my life better.
I almost even forgot we were basically in a game playing kids games betting our lives for money.
It's like I didn't even care about the money anymore.
I didn't even care if I left this place empty handled as long as Sae-byeok and I were alive.

"Hey y/n what would you do if you won the money?" Sae-byeok asked.
"I was thinking to pay of student debt then travel the world!" I replied
"Hey i was thinking to also travel the world what if we both survive and travel the world together y/n." Sae-byeok said
"Yeah I would like that!" I replied
Say lets make a promise that no matter what happens we will travel the world! Sae-byeok said.
"I mean why not!" I said.
"Ok I promise that if we survive we will travel the world together." I said
"I promise that we will travel the world together no matter what y/n." Sae-byeok said

Then you both got shot because the guards already told you to shut up 17 time and none of you guys listened.
