Prabhas had a smile plastered on his face. A pure, happy smile.
He had doubted his family for nothing, their choice hadn't been bad at all!
After the conversation with Apsara, he had a tugging desire to meet her again, she was actually quite fun to be with.
She didn't flirt, she listened well, 'had a mind of her own' in Sweety's words...
Oh. Sweety.
He surely had to tell her about Apsara.
Picking up his phone, he sent her a text, which said 'Call me asap.'
He went through his Instagram quickly and was about to switch off, when Sweety replied.
He grinned, they were indeed 3 a.m. buddies.
She called him, and he answered immediately, gearing up to spill the whole story of how he met this gem of a woman.
"Why do I feel like it's gonna be a long call Pubsu?" Sweety asked him, sensing his excited energy on the other side.
Prabhas smiled shyly, a lot like a new bride heading to the groom's room.
"See Sweety, last week I found out from P, that Amma had finally found someone she liked" He started, pausing for effect.
Sweety was grinning now, she knew what was coming, he had found someone he actually liked, after this long!
"After a while, Amma herself hesitantly told me this, and as I knew beforehand, I immediately said yes, what could I achieve by postponing it more?" He rambled on, voice dripping with excitement.
He sounded like a teenager to her, dying to tell his crush story to his best friend.
She listened without speaking, she didn't want to interrupt his flow.
"And Amma told me to meet her, giving me an address of a mansion, which is actually Apsara's ancestral home" he told her, and paused.
"Apsara?" Sweety teased, the way that name rolled off his mouth sounded nice.
"Umm yeah, her name's Apsara" he tried to stop himself from going shy again.
In vain.
"What is she like?" Sweety asked, trying to form an image of this lady he was gushing about.
"Average height, confident, well educated, only child" He answered in a second, without hesitation.
She respected him, for how he hadn't mentioned her face or beauty, when asked to describe her. He certainly was a gentleman through and through.
And then, Sweety started giggling, he sounded so similar to how he spoke in that scene in Mirchi, where Jai had to answer Vennela's queries about his ideal type.
She suppressed her giggles, and reenacted her dialogue, "Koncham vaadindayya."
He suddenly realized what she was saying, and started laughing with her, he hadn't known his life would become so similar to the movies.
After a full bout of laughter, he told her how he had fallen asleep, how Apsara had introduced herself, how smart she was and blah, blah, blah.
Sweety listened patiently, she knew this never happened to him often.
She was extremely happy, finally, her best friend, was smitten by a woman, a woman who would probably end up his wife.
He rambled on for hours, and by the time both fell asleep, people started waking up all over the country, to head to work and to attend to their daily chores.
