Sun beamed down on the new nation, an early morning warmth already settling in, signalling the start of another hot day. It had been another three days since the last full gathering of l'manberg due to everyone being busy with their own things.
But mainly, they had been working together to remove a mountain by l'manberg's gate to create more room for new homes in which Jack had been planning on. Y/n had been thinking about it too, happy to have a house close to l'manberg. After the hard work, the mountain was finally gone and Jack had started on his home, fencing off a decent portion of land with fences and beginning with the help of Y/n as she planned out what she wanted.
But today, Y/n had finished her plans and wanted to start. The only problem was she didn't have the stuff needed to make a house and Tommy and Tubbo were under the watch of Fundy today, on their final day on confinement and they wouldn't be able to help her. So Y/n began the trek to Dream's house, with the intention of getting some tools from them and getting her own stuff- after all, they told her to come to them if she needed anything.
"Morning," she said as she entered through the front door but finding no one. Y/n frowned, glancing around the house before looking through the other doors and down the paths. "Oh, there's a new building." She said her thoughts aloud and stepped through the door and began to approach it. It was a large stone brick castle that stretched high into the sky.
Further down the path, Y/n could see a group and quickened her pace towards them. "Morning," she repeated as she grew close. They looked towards her and Y/n could see it was George, Dream, Sapnap and Eret. Y/n visibly hesitated to come any further at the sight of the brunette in shades and her smile faltering ever so slightly.
"Hello," Dream greeted, his mask having returned to his face and hiding emotion while Sapnap and George echoed the greeting. "Morning Y/n, how's l'manberg?" Eret asked, tilting his head slightly as he spoke to the girl. Y/n hesitated again, an unsure look on her face.
"Good, we're all good." She responded before looking to Dream. "What's this?"
"Eret's castle, he's the king now after all." Dream explained shortly, nodding towards Eret. "He'll have a crown tomorrow." Y/n was silent for a few seconds, reminding herself to tell the others later.
"Anyway, did you need something?" Dream asked.
"Yeah, I was wondering if you have any spare tool you could spare- I still don't have anything," Y/n asked, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Sure, I can get you some stuff," Eret replied with a smile and turned towards one of the stone towers that connected to the large castle. "Do you need any help getting stuff?" Sapnap asked Y/n, "I heard l'manberg cleared that big hill, are you making a house?" George added.
"I wouldn't mind help but I really think Wilbur would mind if I brought any of you guys over there," Y/N replied.
Eret soon returned with a leather bag and a large axe in his other hand- the t-shaped head of a diamond pickaxe poking out from the opened bag as Eret added a small shovel into the bag. "Here's what I have but an axe definitely won't fit in this little bag." he handed the bag towards Y/N and she smiled and took it- the weight of it surprised her.
