Heatwave's POV

After Ratchet scurried us out, we went to our rooms in shock. Hotshot is very strong for someone so young. It only made me feel worse for the way I treated him. Soon enough, the other recruits and professors came into my room and looked at me sadly. I looked down at my servos. I didn't even look up when Ratchet came in.

"Tell me one thing, Heatwave, what were you hoping to achieve?" Ratchet asked sternly. "Because you not only cause Hotshot problems, but you caused him pain and you broke one of the rules that was given to us when we first arrived. That is never approached the kids, even Hotshot, unless they come to you, you fragging dumbass!"

"Yea, we don't know what even happened, but even we haven't approached him," Wedge states. I got up to leave but Ratchet shoved me back down onto the berth I was sitting on. I looked up at him, just to see him glaring me with anger.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Hotshot doesn't like you, your pushy and don't think twice when it comes to him. As much as I understand how troublesome he was, I still tried to treat him the same. Maybe before you confront him, think about what he may want, and think about the possible situations that could arise from the confrontation, because what you did today was both immature and pure stupidity," Ratchet said, right as Firefrost walked in again, a pissed off look on her face. My insides felt funny as I looked down.

"Be lucky I'm not kicking you out, but you are now under even more restrictions than ever. You will not be able to leave your room without another professor, nor are you allowed anywhere near Hotshot unless absolutely necessary. On addition to that, you will," she started before being interrupted by one of the young ones running in and whispered into her ear. She began to frown, making all of us worry. She walked out with the child as we all decided to follow her. The child that came in was leading us outside, heading to the gate. The child stopped infront of the gate, pointing to the gate. Firefrost nodded her head to the others. "Open the gates!"

"Of course, FireFrost!" the gatekeeper yelled back. Once the door opened, Firefrost walked out, but not the child that lead us here, who was shaking in fear. I looked at the other professors and students in confusion. We followed Firefrost to where she stopped. As we came close, what we all saw was horrifying.

"This is horrible," Boulder said, which is what I believe everyone was thinking. There was a dead body on the ground and the energon from the poor Cybertronian was used to write a message. "Why does it say 'We know you have him'?"

"I think they are talking about Hotshot, I think the people who are looking for him did this," Chase stated. This was the scariest thing that I have been through, and it is not even surrounding me. I wish I looked more into Hotshot, we would of had a better understanding of him over figuring it out when he's being threatened.

"Because whoever is looking for him know he is within these walls. Personally, I think those who killed his parents are the ones who are trying to get him, but even I'm not sure about that. That also means that whoever is looking for him know not to attack this place," Firefrost said.

"Firefrost, don't you think it's time to get the police or Elite Guard involved?" Bee asked. We all were looking towards her as she looked at the message.

"I'll inform Magnus, but I don't think anyone else should get involved," she sighed. I was shocked with was she said and I know I'm not the only one.

"We'll need more people, Firefrost! If these are the lengths they are going to, we should get more people involved," Boulder said. She sighed turning to us.

"Here's the thing, I'm one of the two heads of the Elite Guard, Magnus being the other one. I'm also the one that deploys missions for the Elite Guard. I know it is a risk by not involving multiple people into this, but if we do get more people, the greater of a risk to us and Hotshot there is," she said as she waved us back inside. We entered the gate. As it closed, I turned around to see her walk away from this place. I don't get what she means in not having as much protection. I felt a hand on my shoulderpad as I turned to see Optimus.

"Have faith in Firefrost. She knows more about battles and when more people are better. I am in agreement with her, we don't need to involve more people, as that comes with risks when we still don't know who is after Hotshot. Trust the process and let Firefrost come up with a plan," he told me before walking away with the others. I look back at the gate once more before following him. I just wonder how this will all unfold.
