Hiyaa :)
This one's a little long but I know you don't care.

The sun woke you up, it's light resting on your face, you hadn't realized how thin the curtains were until now.
You pulled your phone up to your face and eyed the time, only 7am, and you sat up, stretching your arms up.
A yawn fought its way out of you, sleep not being easy to find. It was always hard for you to settle into new places.
You didn't have a plan for the day, your mission was to find McCree.
Check.
To gather information on him.
Happening tonight.
And to leave without being caught.
TBA.
"Just a boring vacation."
You huffed and scooted out of the bed, getting ready for the day. You'd given yourself the newest cover of "city journalist" so you figured acting like it was the best plan.
What did this town have to offer anyways?
You grabbed a small bag, stuffing a notebook, a few pens, essentials, and a jacket in case you didn't come back until later.
"Time to explore."
You swung the bag over your shoulder and locked your room up, quicky stepping down the hotel stairs and into the warmth of the sunlight.
"Good mornin'!"
You smiled at the voice, the hotel manager walking your way holding a bunch of towels.
"You're an early bird huh?"
She walked up to you and you nodded in response.
"Yeah, why waste such a beautiful day."
She looked busy so you didn't want to hold her up for too long but you decided to ask her a quick question.
"Hey, do you know any like, old monuments around here? Like anything of interest? I'm trying to write a paper."
She frowned as she thought, not expecting the question.
"Hm. Actually we've got the old cemetery up the hill just past the saloon. People from hundreds of years ago rest there now and most of their stories are on the tombstones."
She noted the look on your face and let out a small laugh.
"And if Ghosts aren't what you're interested in ask Mr. Gunner on Salt Drive, he runs a museum. It's mostly an information dump, history and whatnot."
You smiled, that option seeming more inviting.
"Awesome, thank you so much."
She nodded and went on her way, happy to help.

You had a quick breakfast at the same diner as last night, their food just as tasty, and decided to look for this 'Mr.Gunner' you needed to fortify your cover and nothing would do it better than actually writing about the town.
You asked around for the street the manager gave you but not many even recognized it, a few did but said it was basically closed off years ago. You thought it was a deadend but you spotted an old newspaper plastered to a window as a futile way to keep the sun out.
