[ One and a half months later ]

❝Hyunji, Hyunji!❞ patting her daughter's shoulder as she called her name, trying to wake the heavy sleeper Bae.

Hyunji let out a hum in response as she twist her body to the other side, didn't wanna get up. ❝Don't just hum there, Doyum is outside waiting for you.❞ Hyunji's brows crashed together as if she heard something that wasn't right.

❝Why is he here?❞ a question let out by the teenage Bae and covered her face with the comforter. Ms. Bae sighed and pulled out the comforter. ❝Don't you remember, you agreed to hang out with him last week?❞

Realizing it, made Hyunji sit up opening her mouth, and yawn before she could even touch the cold floor of her room. Scratching her head while walking towards her bathroom and took a hot shower.

Shaking her head while going out to her daughter's room and went downstairs to open the front door and tell the Jeon to come in.

After taking off his scarf and a thick jacket, revealing that he wears a black long sleeve. The Jeon went to the couch and sat near on the fireplace where he could feel warm and patiently waiting for the Bae to come down. Ms. Bae being nice to Doyum as always, she prepared a hot chocolate for him to drink on this cold day.

Footsteps were heard making Ms. Bae alarmed that Hyunji is coming down. The Jeon smiled at the girl. Wearing a knitted turtleneck sweater and leggings.

Both of them went out of the house and walk just to go to the Park. Hyunji's giggles were everywhere once that she and Doyum started a conversation.

Sound of the dog barking once that they got to the Park. Hyunji spotted a dog running in her direction. ❝Who could be the owner of this dog?❞ asking to herself as she look at the Jeon who shrugged after hearing her question.

❝Better carry the dog, Hyunji. It's dirtying your white shoes.❞ a chuckle was heard from Doyum. Hyunji ended up carrying the dog and walk towards a bench and sat along with Doyum.

❝Damn, I think I lost her.❞ told to himself while looking left and right. A person hugged his arm. Sunghoon wearing his poker face again as he looked at the person.

❝Long time no see, Hoon.❞ hearing the nickname made Sunghoon rolled his eyes. His other free hand grab the girl's arm and pulled out from hugging his.

❝Leave me alone, Semi. I have to find my dog.❞ Semi didn't get bothered hearing his cold tone. She's used to Sunghoon being cold to her since childhood.

For real, Sunghoon doesn't really like Semi being around him. He'll get annoyed with her every time that she's around. Even in their childhood days.

❝I'll help you.❞ giving a bright smile to the Park and walk away. Sunghoon sighed and slid his hands on his jacket's pocket.

Laugh was heard not so far away from his current location. But soon, he suddenly heard a child laughing the same as what he was hearing. Sunghoon covered his ears as if he didn't wanna hear it.

His legs slowly move on their own and didn't know where he was going. Stopping in front of a bench where two figures were sitting. The one was holding its phone and secretly taking a picture of the girl who is having fun and holding the dog in the air happily.

'Such a cliché' told to his mind then cleared his throat. Doyum hid his phone meanwhile Hyunji her eyes widened while looking at her probe who suddenly appeared out of nowhere and frighten her.

❝What are you doing here?❞ asked the mono girl. Colors suddenly appear again once her and Sunghoon's eyes met. Sunghoon's brow rose. ❝I'm here to bring my dog out for a sec,❞

Looking to the dog that was sitting on the lap of the mono girl. ❝But it looks like Gaeul suddenly ran to someone.❞ calling the dog and jump out of the Bae's lap and ran towards the Park.

Hyunji's eyes were locked up straight and stunned by just seeing someone who stopped beside the figure skater. ❝Sunghoon have you find— well well, it's Bae Hyunji.❞

❝S-Semi,❞ Hyunji gulped after seeing the long-haired girl beside Sunghoon, smirking at her. Still, Semi's attitude is still the same as before.

Jeon Doyum grabs the wrist of the girl beside him. His gaze was also locked at the girl. ❝Let's go?❞ asking her as he notice that she wasn't comfortable with the place after the two figures came in front of them.

His hold was a switch from wrist to the girl's hand who was resting at the wooden bench. Her hands were cold, cold as the ice. Once that Hyunji came to her senses she went to see the smiling face of the Jeon and slowly nod.

Inner in her, she was really doesn't want to see her bully again but it was unlucky for her today. Even Hyunji herself has a question. The Jeon and the Bae stood up, leaving the two.

Sunghoon saw how the Jeon fix his hold to the girl's hand and even slid it to its pocket to keep Hyunji's hand warm. The girl wasn't doing anything and just walking straight.

Sunghoon's hand-formed into a fist. Semi was holding Gaeul as she followed Hyunji and the guy with her eyes then switch to the tall figure skater beside her. Seems like Sunghoon doesn't really like seeing the two together.

Moreover, his hands. Semi smirked and got something on her mind.

❝Hey Hyunji, are you alright?❞ asked the Jeon who is now being worried about his friend beside him who wasn't into herself until now. Gaze was just looking in front no response and didn't even wanna talk.

Suddenly, Hyunji stops walking on its own. Flashback from her old school and Semi was hunting her until she felt chest pain. Was about to kneel but luckily Doyum was still holding her hand.

Doyum's other free hand holds her waist preventing her to sit on the cold and dirty ground.

"I'm here to bring out my dog for a sec," Sunghoon's voice kept repeating from her head. "But looks like Gaeul suddenly ran to someone."

Giggles were followed and another male voice was heard from her head. But this time, it was a sweet voice coming from a little boy. "She likes you... Hyun."

"Hey sea lion, switch school already! We don't want a sea animal in our school" laughs came from Semi's friends who were standing beside the bully and poured water at her.

Ending the flashback by hearing Doyum's worried tone and make her look at his face and slowly stood up. Doyum was still holding her waist and didn't want his beloved friend to collapse in a second.

❝I don't... wanna stay in here. Doyum-ah, let's go somewhere else.❞ she told to the Jeon as he nodded and leave the park just to get to another place.
