Your P.O.V.

The rest of the night was spent with Ranboo and I talking about what to do. We decided we'd have the date tomorrow, just because that's when we were both free next, plus we didn't want to do it on a school night. Luckily, we didn't have school on Monday.

I didn't tell Cian a thing, and that was killing me. But I wanted them to be surprised about it.

I woke up earlier than usual on Sunday. I got up and went on my computer for a while, just pass time. Ranboo and I were planning to go on this date at around 3 PM. I was clueless as to what we would be doing for this date.

Time seemed to drag on. But finally, it was about 2 PM and I decided to finally start getting ready. I did whatever I needed to, to be ready then just waited. Soon, Ranboo texted me.

hey! I might be a bit late. parents were questioning where I was going lol

you're good! take your time!

thanks for understanding. see you soon!

yep, see you soon!🥰

I waited by the front door. Soon, I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door, and saw Ranboo. He was wearing a white t-shirt with some basic black jeans. He had a red hoodie on, since it was somewhat cold out. I was relieved that he wasn't too dressed up. Ranboo held something behind his back

"Hey!" I smiled. Ranboo smiled back.

"Hey! Uh, I got something for you!" Ranboo said. He proceeded to hand me some of my favorite flowers.

"Aw, Ranboo! You didn't need to do this!" I smiled. This was definitely a surprise!

"I wanted to get you something special. I uh, didn't know what you'd want though, so I just went with what I assumed you'd like–" Ranboo laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

"They're actually my favorite, so thank you! Uh- I'm gonna quickly put these in a vase so just– Stay here a second, I'll be back," I said. I quickly went to the vase in the kitchen, out the flowers in there then practically ran back to Ranboo.

"Ready to go?" Ranboo asked.

"Yeah! We can go whenever!" I smiled. Ranboo kind of started walking off, and I closed my door, walking with him. He had his hands in his pockets. "Sooo... Where are we going?" I asked. Ranboo slowed down for me to catch up, then walked with me.

"The park that's nearby. I didn't know where else we should've gone–" Ranboo laughed awkwardly. I gave him a reassuring smile.

"I think it's perfect for a first date," I smiled. Ranboo looked away for a moment, before looking back at me.

"First date, huh?" Ranboo smirked slightly. I rolled my eyes.

"I mean, if this one goes well, then we'd probably go on more, right?" I said.

"True," Ranboo said.

We walked to the park, on this little trail there was. We walked in silence, but it wasn't awkward. It was that silence where there wasn't really anything to be said, you know? Eventually, Ranboo broke the silence though.

"It's nice out here. I don't come here that often," Ranboo said.

"It is nice. I used to come here often as a kid, but eventually just- stopped. Even I don't know why," I said, kind of smiling at the memories I had as a little kid coming here. My smile soon faded, as I realized some things. Ranboo noticed my frown.
