As he painstakingly strolled down the stairway, Sherlock couldn't resist the opportunity to feel somewhat queasy. He swallowed, holding his head and brushing his hair with his fingers. 'Am I sick?' He contemplated internally however he shook the idea away, thinking he just felt unsteady.

"Liam, perhaps we can-" his sentence was interrupted by his cough.

"Sherly, are you alright?" William asked with a concerned tone.

"I'm quite alright, Liam." He coughs again. "Just have a cough."

He coughed again, he covers his mouth. His lover got up from his seat with the look of concern written all over his face. Sherlock glances to his lover, he tilts his head in confusion.

"No, Sherly. You need to lie down today." William approaches Sherlock and cups his face, checking if he was alright.

"You have a fever, come, you need to lie down." He gestures his hand to Sherlock but he hesitates to take it.

"Liam, I don't think that is necessary," he retorts.

"Sherlock Holmes, lie down on the bed," William replies with a serious voice. Sherlock didn't waste and lay down on the mattress.

"I'll go get a few things, you stay here." "Alright, I will."

"Sherly, you need to eat," William softly said. Sherlock looks to his lover with tired eyes and a dizzy head.

"I will, Liam. I can do it myself." He tries to get up but William quickly stops his lover.

"No, Sherlock. I will help you," he says. Sherlock sighs and gives him a nod.

"Here, be careful, it's still hot." William placed a bowl of soup next to Sherlock and patiently watched his lover eat as much as he can.

"No, eat slowly. You might choke." He wiped Sherlock's mouth. Sherlock nods and William gives him a glass of water. 

Sherlock finished his meal and they now were feeling tired.

Sherlock turns to William, William quickly approaches Sherlock and softly says  'What is it?'

"Thank you, Liam." He says before falling asleep. 

William couldn't help but grin at his lover's remark.
